Trucks, working to repair the highway here, after this fiery crash. Part of the highway, it looks like, was damaged. So theyve got the street sweepers and looks like crews out here. And looks like theyre doing some patchup work to the highway. So we dont know when this northbound part of 101 at Bailey Avenue will be reopened. But this all started 3 30 this morning. Thats when the crash was reported. And this was the dramatic scene the driver saw as they passed the four vehicles on fire. According to chp, it started with a single vehicle that spun out, hit the center divide. Three other cars crashed into it. One ignited and before long, all four vehicles were on fire on the freeway. We know one person was killed. At one point, firefighters and chp had to shut down all. Lanes of northbound 101, south of 85. Now, they have one lane open. I was just driving home from work. Man, i just saw a bunch of fire. And there was like three cars. And theyre just engulfed. It was a pretty bad accident

In sonoma county, a woman was trapped in her pickup truck. She was pulled free after being stuck for about an hour and a half. Rescuers said her head was above water in the truck, but her ankle was stuck. This happened in sebastabul. This was the scene at Lafayette Park at Pacific Heights in traffic. A tree fell on several weeks, crewing a porsha, and jeep, and a volvo. The wind caused the tree to topple over. The steady rain is helping with the drought, but bay area water managers say we still have a long way to go. The babys conditions as stabilized, but she still needs immediate medical treatment. The oneyearold, her parents and an older sibling were on an aroundtheworld trip when she game seriously ill. It happened off the coast of mexico about 1000 miles. Crews plan to transfer the baby girl from the sailboat to the navy ship at dawn. Nick smith has the details from moffett field. Bring a 1yearold girl who became seriously ill on a sailboat to shore for treatment. We train hard to have these capabilities, and we want to go and help.
