republicans run it up, you'll see when you look at it this perspective on the live outstanding votes much tinier circles. that means a smaller piece of votes out there. most of your votes are out here. and again, there are some republican ex-urbs north of atlanta, west of atlanta. but predominantly the votes are now the traditionally blue areas. republicans said they would surprise us today the election day votes. that's what's still being counted in these areas. so the math is there. the color tells you if you're in the warnock campaign, the color tells you yes, you might have a bit of a seesaw still. 18,500 votes when you round that. but the map is filling in in a way, swing county here, swing countriy here that are still blue. the warnock campaign is saying okay, looks better now than it did 15 minutes ago, let's hope it stays that way but we've got a lot of counting to do. >> when we get more vote in we'll have to go back and take a look at whether herschel walker is matching what he did a month ago or exceeding what he did. but let's wait for a little bit more of that vote to come in because i want to go to pamela brown now who's at the voting
that's important because by law all mail-in battle that are received in registrars like the one you see behind me across this state have to be counted by law. earlier clark county officials telling cnn they had received 268 mail-in battle just today, but the registrar said he was going to make another trip to the usps at 5:00 p.m. to make sure that all of those battle are counted. we are asking to see if indeed more battle railroad receive. we are waiting to hear back on that. let me give you a quick state of play of the more than 50,000 battle that still remain to be counted here in the state of nevada. there are more than 1,000 in the gop stronghold of douglas county. we are not expecting those results to be posted tonight. there are another 12,000 in washoe county. that is a swing county, and we're expecting to learn more and for results to be posted at about 7:30 pacific time, 10:30 eastern time. then the 34,000 here in clark
ballots, some might be ruled out. 38,000, 38,000 of the estimated 55 thousand are here in clark county and she's getting 52% of the vote so far. tomorrow's vote, doesn't necessarily track yesterday's vote but you do see we're four days in now and she's getting 52% in clark county that's a consistent number for her if david just laid out they pretty much need the same. if she continues to get 38,000 or 30,000 plus of the 50,000 plus are here, that's good odds for her. what else did gary said? a couple more thousand votes up here in washoe county. this is a competitive swing county. if she can break even, she can catch up. she's a little bit ahead now in a tough county. again, tomorrow's vote count doesn't guarantee anything based on what happened today but she's running strong enough in this county so far including votes counted tuesday, wednesday,
both because republicans need 51. democrats only need 50 because they have the vice president of the united states. so with the democrats it's possible, wolf. it's possible democrats can clench the majority before the december 6th runoff in georgia, and some new votes just came in here in washo county. last time we spoke about this race adam laxalt the republican challenger was up. when the votes came in from washingtono nevada senate and bring it up, move it over a little bit here. let me find my pencil. it just has to pull away and, boom, this is what happened. this is swing county. republicans needed to make up ground here. instead here's what happened, 5,200, 5,800, sorry, and 21 votes, 53%. he's leading. he's leading statewide.

4691. 43%. so she's trailing. you have to make up ground. that's how you do it. you went by ten points in the installment of vote. that's 10,000 votes there. 10,000 votes. what does that mean? that means in a swing county, number one, she's taking the lead and she's holding her lead at 50% to 47%. often in nevada we talk about clark county because that's where most of the people live, but often in nevada politics in the swing county, reno, tahoe, a lot of relocated people from california, the color of this county is often an indicator who is winning state wade in nevada. 821 votes and most of the outstanding votes are here in clark county. he's still leading statewide fewer than 1,000 votes but she's leading by 52% in the largest and most populous county where most of the outstanding votes are. now it guarantees nothing but that math tells you that if the votes continue to follow that pattern, she has plenty of opportunity to catch up with the outstanding votes. i make that point because if you
lead. and then, next, will come votes from this county. if you have been there. it was in reno. this is a swing county. this is the historical swing county inside nevada often even though most of the votes are in clarke county. it's a good place to watch and you can see why. cortez masto 50% to 47%. the first two days of the count, adam laxalt was ahead in the count, and she passed him. does she stretch is lead in the swing county and maybe catch up statewide or does he come back and build his lead a little bit? it's incredible. every vote matters. we're looking at the western part of the state here. this is more republican, the bulk of the votes are down here. most of the votes in the central
clearly neck and neck between cortez masto and adam laxalt. and we just got douglas county, around 5,000 there. do we expect the rest of the outstanding vote to favor laxalt or masto? >> well, it depends where those votes are. as you have been discussing there for the last few minutes, right? so, up in wah show county, which is reno area ooeps, that's kind of a swing county. so, we're very interested to see the next data dump from washo so we can get a sense of whether cortez masto is trending ahead of laxalt up there, as we're sort of expecting. opposite story in clark county, where las vegas is located, that tends to lead much more heavily democratic. so, she's likely to pick up more votes the next time we get a data dump from clark. we're hoping to get another one tonight. we don't know if that's going to happen. these douglas numbers, interesting, we were really waiting to see what was going to come from douglas county because, as we do all of our
