seriously tonight. a short time ago, the u.s. central command, the coalition, announced it is opening a formal assessment into whether on march 17th, in west mosul, it may have dropped bombs that killed a significant large number, perhaps, perhaps hundreds of civilians. so issue right now, nobody knows exactly what happened. all of this began to emerge over the last couple of days as social media activists in the area began to report large numbers of civilian casualties due to bombings in west mosul where there is very tough fighting against isis. the picture has been pretty murky because there s so many conflicting reports, and the u.s. doesn t have anybody on the ground there that can put eyeballs on the situation and really verify it. but the pentagon, the coalition today, a short time ago, said that they ve been able to
