New Memorial Park land bridge tunnels could be partially opened by late 2021

Southern California officials have announced plans for a highway overpass for wildlife, saying that they aim to break ground in 2021. ABC7 has obtained some preview footage of what it might look like from Utah's equivalent "Critter Bridge."
If you've been to Memorial Park over the last several months, surely you've noticed a lot of construction happening on the west side along Memorial Park Drive.
Before the piles of dirt and concrete were at the park, and way before Houston even existed, about 9 million acres of southeast Texas and Louisiana were covered in coastal prairie
"Over thousands of years ago, the coastal prairie defined life and formed the identity of southern Texas," the Memorial Park Conservancy explained in an informational video.

Through the filing, the company will sell its assets to a group of investors, including Altamont Capital Partners, Fortress Investment Group and Tim League, Alamo Drafthouse founder and executive chairman, among others.

So now there is something called a "fake commute."
Office worker Susan Jaworski says she started doing a "fake commute" for a very good reason.
"One more email, one more phone call, that one more message, that 10 minutes was turning into an hour, two hours," said Jaworski.
The COVID-19 pandemic sent Jaworski and millions of other office workers home, and months later, those workers are still at home, and issues are beginning to pop up.
"The longer I went, the harder it was. The blend between home and work was starting, and there wasn't really a transition," said Jaworski.

Leaman Junior High student Harrison Kincade, 12, runs own business, Shabach Apparel, with dad

own it, his dad Lamar was taken aback.
Harrison had played nearly year-round, starting his athletic journey on the baseball diamond with t-ball.
Still, when Harrison wanted to shift from understanding how to go from the batter's box to the C-suite, Lamar had just the thing.
"I was a little bit shocked that he didn't want to play anymore. But I didn't want to be that dad to make his son do something. So I was like 'Hey, what do you want to do? We've got to do something.' So he said, 'Well, why can't I own my own team?' So that's when the business part came in. And I said, 'I can teach you how to run a small business. But I can't buy you a baseball team,'" Lamar laughed.
