CSPAN3 Politics And Public Policy Today June 22, 2024

Amount of coverage, if not the most, that would be Bernie Sanders. A lot of commentary about the size of his crowd and his appeal. The coverage of mrs. Clinton has been pretty negative. A lot of that focused on her emails. I think the thing that really is remarkable to us as media analysts is how she has decided to run this campaign. Im not granting interviews and not do too much press, take a couple of local press questions, maybe. It is amazing to me that she can get away with that. I start to wonder if the press has any selfrespect. They didnt look like they had a lot of selfrespect when they were roped in on the street. She responds on twitter to whatever the debate is happening, whether it is in washington or outside of washington. She will come to twitter to respond that way. What do you make of candidates using that rather than using the mainstream immediate krmedia . That can be the most canned, consultantdriven material. ....

CSPAN3 FCC Chair Unveils Net Neutrality Rewrite Calls For Light Touch Approach April 27, 2017

So i have been at freedomworks for 12 years and 12 years ago, when i started, this is one of the first issues we worked on. And last year, i was very nervous that we were going in the wrong direction. President obama had passed new regulations on the internet that i had feared would permanently stop innovation particularly there are 15 billion devices connected to the internet today. 157 billion. In 2020, that number will go up to 50. So obviously, were going to getting to a whole new level of change. And we can either try and regulate that change or we can let the market develop. So we are encouraged to hear the chairman pai the announcements hes going to be making today, were going to be looking at opening up the internet for development and throwing it open in a way that will increase competition, sorry will throw the internet open in a way that increases competition and does away with trying to have an antistate regulation. CSPAN FCC Chair Unveils Net Neutrality Rewrite Calls For Light Touch Approach April 27, 2017

But the things that the chairman is working on right now potentially have the longest impact of anything coming out of this administration. That is definitely doable. So i have been at Freedom Works for 12 years. And 12 years ago, when i started this was one of the first issues we worked on. And last year i was very nervous that we were going in the wrong direction. President obama passed new regulations on the internet that i feared was primly stop innovation. Particularly 15 billion devices connected to the internet. That number is gonna go up to 50. So obviously well get into a whole new level of change. And we can either try and regulate that change or we can let the market develop. So we are encouraged to hear that chairman ajit pai, the announcements you will be mak ....

Very pleased that they took the action and very pleased to have and hes going to do a wonderful job and focused on closing the Digital Divide and expansion of broadband and making certain the internet is an open source and is not going to be under heavy government control.
