One business that closed one 2016 may not be reopening at all. And thats even though it was left untouched by flood waters. The city of cedar rapids and the best western Coopers Mill Hotel were talking about a possible buy out long before the flooding threat. City real estate manager rita rasmuseen says theyve been in talks with the Property Owners for about a year.
