the most knowledgeable about holocaust history. we knew basic things. like what concentration camps where or a lot of jewish people died, and i hate to use the word a lot because it's so simple and i think it takes away from the people who really did die and it takes away from how many people died, which i don't think i was able to wrap my head around. i did not know the full extent of the history and i think that really bothered me. sadly there is a worry that the horrible details of the holocaust could be forgotten. or in the case of younger generations, never even learned. less than half of u. s states require holocaust education in secondary schools. there's a lot that we don't want to talk about, because it's a really dark side of our history, kids my age need to learn about this history, whether it makes them feel uncomfortable or not. when
