very clear statewide success in florida, has not been on the national stage, and has not faced the type of attack, the type of intensity of a primary challenge. and the president seemed to allude to that late last year when he was asked about desantis and a potential challenge. he has attacked desantis in the past, calling him a trump incarnate making clear that in his view trump and desantis are mostly interchangeable, which is a not so subtle effort on the political side of things. but i think the biggest way that you will see the president target desantis is in the policy space. he was down in florida a couple weeks ago and was talking about medicaid expansion. places where they feel like on the policy side of things they have very clear benefits in terms of a contrast, in terms of a debate. but, more broadly, i think, to some degree, he talked to biden advisers and other democrats. they'll not sure he'll get out of a primary. we think he's a glass jaw, wolf.

jury speaking out for the first time, which feeds questions and speculation tonight about who exactly is now being potentially recommended for indictment there. this is the first ever inside account of the inner workings of the georgia grand jury. if you're thinking, well, you heard a lot about it, you heard a lot about the report, covered it -- i'm going to tell thank you once, because this is the only time i'm going to say it, because this is the only time it's happened first. this is the first time we have had a grand jury speak out, and at that, the foreperson. this is the only known state criminal probe into the trump's election activities. the jury's leader or foreperson today for the first time speaking out in a series of interviews first to the a.p. and then "the new york times," and it is making waves. she says this grand jury recommended indictments for multiple people on a range of charges. now, after what felt like a sudden set of print interviews -- people woke up in the legal world going,

opening argument for what could be the biden re-election? >> obviously that's easiest if the nominee is trump. there are some other republican candidates that also could be characterized as crazy or having crazy policies they support. but i think what it's telling you is that every encumbent president of which president biden has won runs on this platform and this argument, give me more time, let me finish the job, as he said in the state of the union. but i am better than that other guy. and the best contrast we know of now with the current front-runner for the republican nomination he knows about be the white house is focused on is, it is competence, give me time to do more, and that over there looks crazy. look what trump's saying. look what republican house is doing. so that is a how you make people feel, and i think is certainly from my former colleagues in the white house who i've spoken to, how they plan on running at this
