Involving an elderly couple in martinez. The woman mistook her cars gas pedal for the break running over her husband and killing him this morning near Alhambra Valley road. Police say the womans in her 80s. Her husband apparently helping her park the car in the garage. Its when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. She hit her husband and then crashed through the back wall of the garage, pinning him under the car. The man was rushed to the hospital where he died an hour later.
