exercise rates amongst south asians in britain a re low so another motivation for haroon is inspiring his community into sport. when i first started running, i'll be honest and saying it was very lonely. i would travel to different cities, running half marathons and marathons, and you could count on your fingers or sometimes not count at all the number of people of ethnic, minority and race participation. things have changed a lot since then, but there's so much more to do. people that would never, ever dream of completing 26.2 miles, to see them just get to the start line itself is a massive achievement. and how much that also normalises, you know, running for our communities. that's the biggest sort of value and appreciation that i have. for haroon, this hasn'tjust been about running a marathon. it's been about breaking down barriers and encouraging his community to get involved in exercise during the month of ramadan. lydia campbell, bbc news. and that is all from the world of sport for now. we'll see you next time.

campbell, bbc news. that's all from the world of sport for now. see you next time. hello there. high pressure is continuing to bring a lot of dry, settled, sunny weather throughout the day for most areas on thursday, but like the last few days, we've got a keen easterly wind out there. that's taking the edge off. the temperatures will be noticeably chilly along north sea coasts and there will be some rain at times and more cloud across south—east england courtesy of this weather front, which will move in off the near continent. you'll notice there's a slight blue hue to the air mass, indicating that the air is quite chilly as well. so when you factor in the strong wind and slightly cooler air, then it will be a little bit fresher across the board. however, most places starting off dry, widespread sunshine and much of the country will stay dry and sunny all day. but then we'll see that area of cloud and some splashes of rain pushing into

the highlight on day five of the world snooker championship has been kyren wilson's 147 maximum break. he is taking on ryan day in the opening round, and this is how wilson finished it off, achieving what is only the 13th 147 in the tournament's history. if no—one matches it, he stands to earn £55,000 in additional prize money. wilson currently leads 9—4 at the mid—session interval, needing just one more frame to reach the next round. there has been an upset in sheffield. last year's runner up and the 2019 championjudd trump is out. trump's been in poorform of late and he had no answer to scotland's anthiny mcgill, who won ten frames to six. mcgill will play his friend jack lisowski in the second round after lisowski beat thailand's noppon saengkham10—7. and that is all from the world of sport for now. christian, back to you. paul, thank you very

that is all from the world of sport for now. thanks for watching. hello. so far this month, the weather's been drier, sunny and warmer than average in scotland. and certainly for tuesday, there was loads more sunshine. look at this stunning weather watcher picture for the second day on the run, highland scotland had the day's highest temperature, up to 21 degrees. why is it so warm here at the moment? well, it's down to the scottish mountains. you see, it's quite windy for most parts of the uk, but those mountains high enough to block the winds. and so, with lighter winds here, more of the sun's energy is used to boost temperatures, whereas in those places where it's quite windy, some of that sun's heat get mixed through a larger depth of the atmosphere, so it never gets quite so warm. overnight tonight, we do have cloudy skies for england and wales, developing with an odd shower in the southwest. the clearer skies in scotland, that's where we'll see the lowest temperatures heading into wednesday. now, on the face of it, high pressure stays in charge for at least the next couple of days. still, with the winds coming in from an easterly direction, however, there will be more
