Virtual I in Majority Rally to target mental health among High Desert youth

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Institute for Public Strategies will host the “I in Majority Rally” on Friday, wherein youth from across the High Desert and San Bernardino County will discuss mental health strategies.
The rally s hosts include Miranda Gabaldon and Tyler Johnson, youth members of the High Desert Community Coalition, as well as Hannah Esparza, a youth member of the Adelanto Coalition.
The rally is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday and will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.
Speakers will share how they cope with stress, who they follow as positive role models and encourage others to join them in practicing healthy-living habits, according to IPS Program Manager Sarah Boyer. ....
