कोरोना वायरस का डेल्टा वेरिएंट से अब नई मुसीबत के संकेत मिल रहे हैं। एक्सपर्ट इस बात की आशंका जता रहे हैं कि यह इसका नया वेरिएंट AY.1 या डेल्टा+ अधिक खतरनाक हो सकता है। जानते हैं कि एक्सपर्ट इस नए वेरिएंट के बारे में क्या आशंका जता रहे हैं।

भारत में पहली बार सामने आया कोरोना वायरस का डेल्टा वेरिएंट से अब नई मुसीबत के संकेत मिल रहे हैं। एक्सपर्ट इस बात की आशंका जता रहे हैं कि यह इसका नया वेरिएंट AY.1 या डेल्टा+ अधिक खतरनाक हो सकता है। बताया जा रहा है कि यह नया वेरिएंट इतना खतरनाक है कि यह संक्रमण के इलाज में प्रस्तावित मोनोक्लोनल एंटीबॉडी कॉकटेल को भी मात दे सकता है।
नए म्यूटेशन K417N का पता लगा
यूके सरकार के हेल्थ एंड सोशल केयर डिपार्टमेंट की एक कार्यकारी एजेंसी पब्लिक हेल्थ इंग्लैंड के अनुसार, 63 जीनोम डेल्टा के साथ नए म्यूटेशन K417N का पता चला है। इसकी पहचान वैश्विक विज्ञान पहल GISAID की तरफ से की गई है। पिछले शुक्रवार तक अपडेट किए गए कोविड -19 वेरिएंट पर अपनी नवीनतम रिपोर्ट में, भारत ने 7 जून तक डेल्टा + के छह मामले दर्ज किए थे।
इससे पहले ऐसा ही वैरिएंट यूरोप में पाया गया था
पब्लिक हेल्थ इंग्लैंड की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि डेल्टा-एवाई.1 नए वेरिएंट का पता डेल्टा वैरिएंट की रेगुलर स्कैनिंग के जरिये चला। रिपोर्ट में बताया गया कि बहुत कम संख्या में ज्ञात सिक्वेंस ने स्पाइक प्रोटीन म्यूटेशन K417N प्राप्त कर लिया था। वैज्ञानिकों ने कहा कि इस तरह का सिक्वेंस इससे पहले मार्च के अंत में यूरोप में पाया गया था।
मोनोक्लोनल एंटीबॉडी के खिलाफ प्रतिरोध
दिल्ली के इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ जीनोमिक्स एंड इंटीग्रेटिव बायोलॉजी के क्लिनिकल और कम्प्यूटेशनल बायोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. विनोद सकारिया ने कहा कि K417N के बारे में खास बात है कि यह मोनोक्लोनल एंटीबॉडी कासिरिविमैब और इमदेविमाब के प्रतिरोध करता है। एंटीबॉडी का इस कॉकटेल को केंद्रीय औषधि मानक नियंत्रण संगठन से देश में वायरस के खिलाफ इलाज में इमरजेंसी यूज के लिए मंजूरी दी है।
वैक्सीन के असर को कम करने की थी रिपोर्ट
स्कारिया ने कहा कि यूरोप, एशिया और अमेरिका के 127 सीक्वेंस अब पब्लिक डोमेन में उपलब्ध हैं। स्कारिया ने बताया कि दुनिया भर में अब उपलब्ध कई जीनोम AY.1 या B.1.617.2.1 लाइनेज का हिस्सा थे। इससे पहले राष्ट्रीय रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र और इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ जीनोमिक एंड इंटीग्रेटिव बायॉलजी ने मिलकर एक स्टडी की थी जिसमें पता चला था कि डेल्टा वेरियेंट संक्रमण रोकने के लिहाज से वैक्सीन के असर को कम कर देता है। हालांकि, उनकी स्टडी में यह भी कहा गया है कि वैक्सीन फिर भी कोरोना के खिलाफ काफी कारगर है।

The Chhattisgarh government has allowed home delivery of liquor in the state through online sale during the ongoing coronavirus-enforced lockdown, officials said on Sunday.
The opposition BJP in Chhattisgarh criticised the ruling Congress over the decision, claiming that it seems the state government's priority was to provide liquor to people instead of medical facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The state commercial taxes department in an order on Saturday gave permission to the excise commissioner to allow home delivery of liquor through online orders, officials said.
