With the recommendation, most states will likely begin giving out the shot to younger teenagers on Thursday
A Pfizer executive said clinical trial data in a separate trial for children aged two to 11 could be available by the fall

Sunday shows preview: Coronavirus dominates as White House continues to push vaccination effort

The White House’s efforts to boost coronavirus vaccinations across the country as demand for the inoculation starts to wane are expected to dominate this week’s Sunday talk shows. 
As of Saturday, nearly 58 percent of the U.S. adult population has received at least one dose of one of the three vaccines approved for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), with roughly 43 percent fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 
However, a survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation released this week found that Biden-confronts-limits-of-big-government-with-covid-19 >just nine percent of people who haven’t been vaccinated said they plan to do so, thus raising concerns from health experts and others on whether the country will be able to reach the 70- to 80-percent threshold necessary to achieve herd immunity.  ....
