KXLY May 6, 2021 7:45 AM Jordan Tarver - Forbes Advisor Posted: Updated: May 8, 2021 7:40 AM When you’re running low on cash and can’t afford your rent, you can feel uncertain about what to do. One solution to consider is a personal loan for rent. It can provide you with quick access to the cash you need to keep the roof over your head. However, this short-term fix might not be the right move for everyone. Before you take out a loan to pay rent, learn what types of loans you can use and what the pros and cons are so you can make an informed decision.

As we reported earlier this year, India and South Africa proposed last fall that the Council for Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) recommend a waiver from the implementation, application and enforcement of Sections 1, 4, 5, and 7 of Part II of the TRIPS Agreement in relation to prevention, containment or treatment of COVID-19 to the General Council of the WTO. The two countries also recommended that [t]he waiver should continue until widespread vaccination is in place globally.
Ali Wong. Photograph: Alex Crick/Netflix Baby Cobra gives the lie to the claim that comedians are no longer edgy or that standup as social commentary is being watered down by wet-flannel millennials. Wong knows her material on race and sex will make people uncomfortable; she revels in it. And it works because sheâs never punching down. An Asian-American woman, she is highly literate in social dynamics and the dark humour they give rise to. Rude, whip-smart standup for those who donât want their comedy cosy. This ended up having to be a double column and a bit late because I spent the last two weeks in self-isolation after a Covid exposure. Now I’m back in the world (more or less – I’m under a stay at home order) and I got to catch up on two week’s worth of comics! Best Comics of the Fortnight: Beta Ray Bill #1 – I’ve loved Beta Ray Bill since I first saw him in Walter Simonson’s Thor comics, and have long felt like he’s criminally underused in the Marvel Universe. I was really happy to see that he’s getting his own miniseries, and that it’s written and drawn by Daniel Warren Johnson, who is an incredible creator. This issue ties in with the King In Black event, as Bill attempts to save Asgard from a symbiote-covered Fin Fang Foom. Johnson does amazing work here – Bill looks really cool, and he has a strong feel for the character’s tragic side. He also recognizes how he’s always stuck in Thor’s shadow. I enjoyed Johnson’s recent Wonder Woman Black Label series, but feel like this might be an even better feel for his approach to art and storytelling.
