St. Martin News Network - Dutch parliament elections on Bonaire is a mockery to democracy, a trap- don't vote

Published: 16 March 2021
Foundation We Want Bonaire Back has no other alternative to advise the Bonaire peoples don't go vote not to fall into the trap of  Dutch parliament elections.
Don't vote, because they don't respect our referendum and our democracy, neither our rights, or either international law that themselves has signed in United Nations. They will use your vote to say yourself has voluntarily participated and legalized this illegal constitutional status, and yourself will be against your own NO vote in the referendum 2015 that is one of the principal reasons for the United Nations to put us back on their protective list of Non-Self-Governing-Territories.

St. Martin News Network - Wrong DNS choice hurting Caribbean Internet privacy.

Published: 15 March 2021
BY GERARD BEST
Do anything online and you always leave digital footprints behind. Your Internet-connected devices—phone, laptop, tablet, even your smart appliances—all emit a digital signature that’s personally identifiable. This links your virtual footprint to your social identity. All of which have serious implications for your real-world privacy. But one Internet security body just made a physical move to significantly boost your online privacy.
Everything you do on the internet—whether that’s filing taxes, working from home, watching movies, or taking online classes—starts with a Domain Name System (or DNS) event. The DNS is a phonebook for the internet. It’s a framework that translates human-readable domain names into the internet protocol addresses that devices use. Most of us spend little or no time thinking about the DNS because typically our internet service provider simply gives us access to a DNS server, and the DNS quietly does its work in the background. You type into your browser’s URL window, and the DNS dutifully looks up the relevant address so that you can browse to the correct destination.

St. Martin News Network - The Facts Regarding Decolonization.

Published: 15 March 2021
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Parliament of St. Maarten's recent petition to the United Nations regarding racial bias on the islands of the former Netherlands Antilles has come under great scrutiny by varying members of the public.  As a matter of fact, the topic of decolonization seems to have caused a lot of anxiety, as well as, confusion amongst the general public which is quite understandable.  When discussing and analyzing decolonization, it is imperative to focus on the facts presented by the United Nations, the United Nations Charter, and the Kingdom Charter.
What Then Is Decolonization?
In his letter of September 15, 2015, to the Dutch Prime Minister, Marcel Gumbs, along with the Prime Ministers of Aruba and Curacao recalled that the United Nations had great doubts about whether or not the Kingdom Charter had really brought about decolonization.  They pointed to the danger that the UN observed in the ability of the Governor to violate the islands' Full Measure of Self-Government or autonomy.
