can take more of a toll on the body than the diabetes itself, but dr. clement says creating eyelet cells from a person's own stem cells would prevent the need for that kind of medication. >> the next step is we have to grow a lot of eyelets. we have to grow probably about half a billion eyelets in order to cure dieb eaties in a human. >> reporter: doctors are now trying to figure out the best way question. >> all right. can companies legally take water from public fire hydrants? are all plastic containers microwave-safe and can vitamins have negative side effects? liz crenshaw takes these questions. hi, liz. >> happy friday to you. >> same to you. our first question comes from a del in gathersburg, maryland. she's seen pool companies filling up tank trucks from water with fire hate rants. she wants to know is this legal? >> the commission helped with us this answer and it says in maryland public use of a fire hydrant is legal as long as the company leases a meter and pays per gallon for the water used. it ranges from filling a swimming pool to washing a street. in virginia, a pool company will also lease a fire hydrant and pay for water, but do so through the county or city public works dwith and in the district, companies can get firehouse use permits through d.c. water documents and permit's office. don't worry. they'll probably have a meter on it and most likely they're not stealing the water. >> okay. >> our next question comes from lee. he's confused about which containers are microwave safe. so, liz, is it okay to put a plastic container like tupperware in your microwave? >> all blast iplastics are not same. listen up. it says most of the plastics are designed to withstand microwave temperatures, but to be sure that yours is one of them check the packaging label to see if it says microwave safe. if it does not say so, it is best to use a different container. the same, by the way, goes true for plastic wrap. make sure it's labeled safe for microwave use. do not reheat leftovers in those take-out price containers because they can ooesz easily melt or burn. a lot of folks think the chinese food containers and throw it back in the microwave. don't do that. read the label and make sure because that plastic does and can get into the food that you're eating. >> good to know. our final question, liz, comes from charles in maryland. he wants to know if vitamins can have bad side effects. >> u.s. food and drug administration helped us with this answer. it says vitamins are not dangerous unless you take too much of one. side effects are most likely to happen when people take more than the recommended dose. the type of side effect depends on the type of vitamin you take. for example, vitamin a, it could include head akres part of the effort to stall the impact of this building, another piece of pending legislation would cap the number of usable parking spaces at just 1,000. that would force the army to either delay full occupation of the building or to make sure the majority of the 6400 staffers take mass transit or carpool. both misches are a long ways from final approval. residents who serve on an advisory
