The coronavirus pandemic caused the NFL to take its annual player selections underground in 2020, but the league is set for a three-day show in Cleveland this year. LSU set an all-time SEC high in 2020 by producing five first-round selections, one short of Miami (Fla.)’s 2004 record for first-round players. Alabama has produced 15 first-round picks in the previous four drafts, and the current crop of available Crimson Tide alumni is regarded highly enough that LSU’s SEC record and Miami’s national mark could be challenged this year.
