The United States is one of the world leaders in vaccination rates, particularly among nations with large populations. After a year of closed borders, the European Union could open in June to fully vaccinated vacationers from countries with low Covid-19 infection rates. But events in other parts of the world cast a shadow over the improving US outlook.
