the political mess that lebanon is in. and what it means for the country and for the region. >> reporter: you know what it means here is, you know, a prime minister will probably get named today by the hezbollah group. and he'll probably -- he needs to go ahead and form a government and that's going to be the tough thing to do. what people are saying here and i was talking to a real estate agent yesterday and the head of a bank as well. and they were both saying that if the government doesn't form quickly, never mind the violence on the streets -- if the government doesn't form quickly the reforms that need to take place in the government and key things like appointing a new central bank governor in the summer that will be due, those won't happen so the country's economy can't develop and it slowly sinks back. that's without the violence. that's the mess that really worries people right now. >> tell us a little bit about what's expected today. i mean, there are protesters gathering. the crowds may get much bigger. how dangerous is the situation
