here is the charming city of snowvannah, georgia, which usually gets zero inches for e nter. in north carolina's outer banks sheets of ice rattled a fishing pier. and in newfoundland, it was a near moose. a group of snowmobilers spotted a moose in trouble, stuck in the snow and came to its aid, they grabbed shovels and started digging. it took 15 minutes but they did get the moose out of the mess. for the latest on this winter olather, we turn now to eric fisher, chief meteorologist in our cbs station in boston, wbz. eric. q jeff, this has been quite a memorable storm for many along the eastern seaboard. we see it all wrapped up and racing up towards nova scotia, the snow beginning to wind down across new england but the big story along the coast was tremendous flooding. around massachusetts and the new hampshire shoreline the worst flooding since the blizzard of '78, which is a hallmark storm. we had a supermoon, a very full moon, on monday and that created high tides already.
