into the street where you can see the charred rubble. and if you plan to -- pan to the left, under the carport, you can see the charred top of that carport where the second one was. they did find accelerants and a piece of pain there could start the fire -- piece of paper that could have started the fire. there is this video and this man, could he be the responsible for torching the cars just a half-hour later after this video was taken? this ising that police -- is something that police are going to try to figure out. the gas station says the police have asked to see the vehicle. >> and -- after that, like, like a car -- there's a fire, like, one block down. >> reporter: this morning he arcar fires happened under the -- this morning's car fires happened this morning. this happens one week after someone torched a cadillac and on june 14th, another fire at an apartment complex. nearly a dozen people were displaced. now, in both of those cases, investigators found accelerants. a overnight knew news from hayward as well. we found out that a police officer got into a dispute with a person on a bicycle. it happened late last night not far from -- not far from 88. allie rasmus is businesses in the area reported hearing gunfire around 10:00. if we show you the video for about five to six hours after that reported shooting, there were -- the street was closed off as investigators gathered at the scene. we arrived here and saw crime lab investigators loading up the van. we believe the officer's taser was defridayed -- was deployed. we -- now, we don't know who the person osen bike was, what his or per position was. hayward police did confirm one officer did shoot the person on the bike and that person suffered a nonlife-threatening injuries. and the session. president obama's healthcare overall is among the court's handful of remaining cases that still needs to be decided. the high court's historic ruling could come in the next few months but suspect in the shooting rampage at oakland's oikos university, due back in court today for a pretrial hearing. 43-year-old one goe is accused of the shooting. prosecutors say he opened fire on the campus of the small christian college after becoming angry over a tuition dispute. he is eligible for the death penalty because he committed multiple murders. the highway patrol is investigating a possible hit- and-run accident after a woman was found dead in her car. police say the accident happened saturday night from the ellen offramp in mountain view. they say she swerved into the freeway and slammed into a tree. now they are investigating whether another car, a toyota camera caused the accident. they say it's possible the camera clipped the woman's car while making an unsafe lane change. >> i don't know what's wrong with people that they are in such a hurry and can't slow down. cars can be very dangerous. >> police have located the owner of the camry. they've impounded the car. no one has been arrested. they are looking for the witness was may have saw the colliding. there could be a freeze put on college tuition when officials meet tomorrow. the state has reportedly secured another $120 million in funding. they want to use that money to prevent the hikes for the universities for the next school year. the whole plan depends on the governor's proposed tax hikes justices are considering whether it's gonna be many dated whether everyone gets health insurance. it involves insurance for 50 million americans. much of it has gone into effect. hospitals, insurance companies, have been preparing for it. it's considered president obama's signature policy. we're also awaiting the ruling about the immigration cases, whether the states can make interest own laws. most americans oppose the healthcare form even though they oppose most of the protection. 82% say they favor banning insurance companies from denying po -- to people with preexisting conditions. 61% debate over immigration if it passes, the ruling about pulling people over immigrants. a police officer has been killed. one person has been arrested. the officer's name has not been made public. but the officer, it's reported, is well-known and a single mother in the denver police department. the roof of the mall collapsed in canada. this happened in canada, in elliott. parts of the rubble is too illegal immigration. so the attorney for the state argued that the burden and the federal government's inaction has led arizona to pass is own -- to pass its own law to do enforcement. this is really a battle between the state and the federal governmentle over immigration. and again, the breaking news here right -- and the federal government offer immigration. and again, the break witness right here, the supreme court has just struck down most of the law about illegal immigrants. we're still awaiting the decision on healthcare, the you a fordable healthcare act that the obama administration on this police shooting. >> reporter: good morning. they had a street in hey bard shut down for hours as they gathered information. the crime scene tape has cleared away. it's actually in the trash -- it's actually in the trash can but the focus of the investigation is here on this sidewalk. this is where the officer- involved shooting happened. it happened around 10:00 in front of this liquor store in market on a street near princeton. a hayward police officer was involved in some sort of struggle or dispute with a man on a bike. police are not telling us what led up to the dispute or why the officer was in front of the store in the first place but the officer did end up firing his weapon. there was a flashlight on the ground and clothing along with about a dozen evidence markers on the sidewalk. the there's also a taser on the ground. it looked as though the taser had been used or deployed. the tasers's cables were extended and partially wrapped around the patrol car. the
