path of destruction. the storms that brought early snow to the west and heavy rain and flooding to the south are moving on but not before leaving a lot of damage behind. and happy halloween. as kids across the country get ready to put on their costumes, amy and i want to get in on the action and the trick or treats, too. but what will we dress up as? find out. today is saturday, october 31st, 2009. captions paid for by nbc-universal television that is scary. welcome to today on a halloween saturday morning. i m lester holt. and i m amy robach. happy halloween, everyone. we are going to get in on fun later in the broadcast. you want to call it fun. no. i m wearing part of my costume right now. i am so uncomfortable right now. that s all i want to say. really? wow. you are. that s where we re going to leave it. we have a lot to get to this morning. we re also going to talk about the new numbers regarding the swine flu. it s now widespread in almost every state. only hawaii and south carolina are not reporting a big outbreak. meanwhile, the number of children dieing from the virus has taken a dramatic one-week jump. right now the vaccine is the issue. only 26 million doses of the swine flu vaccine have been produced, still well short of the initial estimates. coming up, we ll talk live with president obama s top official on the case, health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius. also this morning a dramatic kidnapping on the high seas as a british couple on the vacation of a lifetime are seized by somali pirates. in just a few minutes we ll bring you the latest on that hostage situation as well as what the missing couple was able to communicate to their family. then we are going to switch gears later on, get into the halloween spirit with a big costume change, a transformation you ll have to see to believe. picture us right now. this is the way we want you to remember us. that s about an hour and a half from now. some of the audience members will be dressing pup. we want to get to the disturbing new numbers from the centers for disease control reporting a big surge in child deaths from the h1n1 swine flu virus. nbc s chief science correspondent, robert bazell, has the latest. new information tonight about the sudden death of a 12-year-old bristol girl. reporter: news reports like this one from rhode island are becoming more common across the country as swine flu spreads, still attacking mostly younger people. last week 22 children died from flu. the largest number of child flu deaths in a week since the cdc began keeping such records and about the half number of children who typically die of the flu in an entire year. the agency says h1n1 is now the only flu virus circulating. swine flu is now widespread in 48 states, and visits to doctors offices and hospitals for flu symptoms continue to shoot up. and still not enough vaccine. there s not enough for all providers or people who would want it, and this continues to be a frustrating. but the gap between supply and demand is closing. reporter: and in a new twist, the head of the cdc said that one reason for the large numbers of hospitalizations and death deaths is that those who should seek care are not getting it fast enough. one of the things that we ve been surprised to see is that even among people who have an underlying condition, such as asthma or heart disease or lung disease, only half sought care for influenza-like illness. only half went to their provider. reporter: in the absence of vaccine, seeking care rapidly is the best defense for those at risk for complications and deaths from this flu. then there is the question of what during this epidemic you should do tonight during halloween. the cdc s advice is, other than keeping sick children home, stay safe and have fun. for today, robert bazell, nbc news, new york. we are going to have much more on the swine flu in our next half hour when we talk live with health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius. and now here s amy. lester, thank you. this morning the the president of pakistan is promising to continue his country s fight against militants in tribal areas near afghanistan. that s after some tough talk from secretary of state hillary rodham clinton, who, during a visit to pakistan, expressed doubts about that country s commitment to fighting al qaeda. nbc s chief foreign affairs correspondent, andrea mitchell, sat down with the secretary of state and has the latest. when you went and talked to the university students, you went you came across a wall of resistance, suspicious, low-grade anger. they challenged you. they said, you know, why should we trust you? america has betrayed us in the past. how do you deal with that? we know that that is the feeling harbored by many people in pakistan. i wanted to get that out on the table because the pakistanis have talked about a trust deficit. and it s a two-way street. we have questions. they have questions. we need to be responding, and we need to be as open as possible. so i thought it was actually very healthy that there was no false politeness. that audience was silent. there was no applause. but think about it, andrea. think about what they have experienced about their perception and about the fear that they re now living with. remember, young students are more likely to say the things that other people are thinking. i would have had some of the same tough questions. in fact, i was thinking back. there was one young woman who was standing up, and she was, you know, very kind about me personally and all the kinds of things that people say. then she let you have it. then she came with a zinger. and i thought, oh, my gosh, there but for accident of birth go i. you said, you know, i m not going to dance around the issues. right. and you were blunt. and then you basically, you know, laid out the suspicions that americans and the american government has long had that the pakistani government missed opportunities, did not go after al qaeda aggressively enough, provided as you described a safe haven for al qaeda since 2002. people are really angry about that in the government and outside the government. were you too blunt? well, i don t think so. they understand that it s we re talking about the kind of partnership that i believe we should be, that it is not just a one-way street. i am more than happy to both take responsibility for some of the past problems that have existed, offer a new way forward, but i think it s important if this is going to be the open and cooperative relationship that i believe is in both of our interests, that we express some of our concerns, as well. that was nbc s andrea mitchell with secretary clinton in pakistan. here s lester. to the conflict in afghanistan as president obama weighs his military options including whether to send more troops into the war zone. friday, the president met with his military and national security teams to talk strategy. nbc s mike viqueira joins us live from washington with the latest on that meeting. mike, this is part of an ongoing series of meetings with war commanders and military advisers. does he have enough information to make the call or is there some disagreement from those voices? reporter: more meetings to come, lester. the president met with the advisers yesterday. he has met for some 20 hour, and yesterday me he met for first time with the assembled joint chiefs of staff from the pentagon. they are known to endorse the mcchrystal report, calling for some 40,000 more troops in afghanistan, but the president wants another meeting. he wants the joint chiefs to come back to him within the next ten days or so with more options, more troop options. the president is looking at the counterinsurgency strategy. mcchrystal said in his initial assessment apart from the troop request that we have about one year to turn this insurgency around in afghanistan or we run the risk of failure. corruption, a lack of trust in the institutions, among the afghan people in their government. a number of issues have to be resolved. the president wants more information. he goes on a trip to asia november 11th, and although he may have something decided by then, there probably be will not be an announcement by the time he deparas on that trip. not last on anyone this meeting came on the heels of the president greeting the bodies of service members killed in afghanistan at dover air force base. is that part of the decisi decisionmaking process? reporter: well, the president was asked during an oval office photo opportunity earlier this week how that affected him. it affected him greatly. he said yesterday robert gibbs was asked one of the gold-star mothers whose son was lost in afghanistan said to the president, don t leaves hanging. gibbs response was we have not let the american troops in afghanistan hanging. we have increased the amount of troops there by some 20,000 since march. we re looking at adding even more. so, there s no concern on the white house on that regard, although they do obviously take that very seriously as edded by that midnight trip that the president took to dover, delaware, to repatriate those remains of the fallen soldiers. mike viqueira, thanks very much. here s amy. thank you. now to the wild weather that brought early winter and destructive storms to parts of the country. ron mott has more. reporter: winter came early to the rockies this week. more than two feet of snow in the denver area challenged record amounts set 12 years ago. as you can see, it s more like january than october here west of denver. reporter: in the southeast, twisters ripped apart mobile homes and slashed power to the tens of thousands, brought relentless rains to arkansas and neighboring states leading to flashflo flashflooding, evacuations for drivers. in little rock, amanda stewart and her son, ezekiel, were nearly swept away by rising floodwaters. in shreveport, another life changed in an instant, the surreal aftermath captured on cell phone video. a soaring church steel toppled, crushing this car but sparing the 57-year-old driver even serious injury. firefighters eventually pulled him to safety. it was miraculous that the man was not killed. if there had been someone in the driver s seat beside him, they would have been killed. reporter: ironically, it s not the first time the church has dealt with a loss like this. nine years ago, the original steeple which had been taken down for repairs, was destroyed many much the same way by high winds. a close call for this man and his family, just ahead of the flattened car. i saw the actual reality of where we were at to where it hit. i just burst out in tears thinking we made it out of there alive. reporter: despite such violent weather, just one fatality was reported in louisiana, leaving many counting their blessings. for today , ron mott, nbc new, shreveport. 11 past the hour. time for a check of the headlines. peter alexander at the news desk. good morning. good morning to both of you. good morning to you at home. off the coast of southern california, coast guard and navy search teams spent the entire nigh looking for any survivors after thursday s midair collision. nine people are feared dead after a coast guard c-130 plane crashed with a marine super helicopter. rescuers have found degree from both aircraft but so far no sign of any of the victims. cleanup crews continue to contain a fuel spill in the san francisco bay area after a tanker vessel dumped oil into the bay. the oil slick is at least a mile long. the coast guard is warning that oil could soon start washing up on shore. the white house on friday releaseeds partial list of visitors in its efforts to be more transparent. it s clear president obama has hosted an a list of guests. among those names, oprah winfrey, george clooney and denzel washington. after a late night of trick-or-treating, you get to set your clocks back before going to bed. clocks fall back an hour tonight at 2:00 a.m. that marks the end of daylight-saving time. it means we get an extra hour of sleep. finally, the pumpkin contest of all pumpkin contests. off the coast of florida, a group of scuba divers sliced up and decorated pumpkins underwater, a pennsylvania diver taking top honors in the carving contest. it beat last year s contest, which was the underwater pumpkin lighting contest. still working on that one. well done, peter. thanks. bill karins has a check of the weather. good morning. happy halloween. a fun day for so many kids out there, and a lot of people want some nice weather. we had that miserable storm. we showed you those amazing pictures from the midwest. that storm is weakening as it moves across the country and flies up into canada. we still have rain this morning, a lot over the state of ohio, kentucky, tennessee, a little left in alabama. your halloween forecast. the storm slides east but weakens. i don t think anyone gets rained out. you ll need the umbrella in atlanta, through carolina, the appalachians and some big cities on i-95. a new storm out west, seattle, portland, and much of the good morning some drizzle around the area this morning. the humidity is up and the barometer is down. the forecast today, a few sunbreaks that s your hol wean forecast. amy? now to the economy. friday was a down day on wall street with the dow plunging 250 points on news of a drop in consumer spending and consumer confidence. cnbc s brian shakman is here to give us the lowdown on the new numbers. good morning. good morning. what a punch on friday, obviously coming on the heels of thursday where they had remarkable gains in the market. this was all about consumer confidence. what happened? well, it s interesting because on thursday you found the economy grew for the first time in a year, great news. then friday you found out, well, consumer spending was down, and they went back and looked at thursday and said, wait a minute, it grew because of government spending and if the consumer is pulling back, maybe they re not as healthy as we thought and the stock market got ahead of itself and people got skittish. it felt like a year ago when it was 100 points up, 100 points down. people in the market on a daily basis say that s the sign of kind of an unhealthy market, and people were nervous yesterday. white house said it s the recovery act directly saving about 650,000 jobs. there has been some back and on this. what do what to-do the numbers say. the education, there s been more saving than creating. you don t see more schools opening or expanding curriculum right now. those have been stopgaps in local budgets. in construction, you can t go out to the grocery store without seeing a repavement project, so you would expect that number to be high. there s a debate on whether we ll get back to job growth. the job losses are being sort of slowed, but a lot of economists i talk to say we re not going to see real growth maybe for another year. that exchains perhaps the consumer spending numbers. the number fell to 70.6, down from 73.5. what are we most worried about with that? well, you know, people are still just worried about their jobs and equity this their home. it s a situation where obviously if you don t have a job right now it feels horrible. if you do have a job, you re worried you won t have one or have enough equity in your home to make a purchase. that pulls you back from what you might spend. there s so much anecdotal evidence, instead of getting mom and dad a gift, they ll get a combined gift. you hear those stories. you compound that over 300 million people, and you see why it makes people nervous. don t forget. people say this a lot. the american consumer drives the global economy, so even though there s been a big shift in the global economy, if we re going to spend less, that means business won t grow the way it has. big companies that have done well have done it by cutting costs and laying people off. thanks so much. lester? the latest on a british couple kidnapped off the coast of somalia eight days ago. they ve been able to speak to their family in the uk. george lewis is in london with the details. george, good morning. reporter: good morning, lester. now there s a ransom demand from the pirates. $7 million would be the price for freeing the couple. meanwhile, the chandlers say they ve been treated well so far. reporter angus walker from britain s independent television news was able to gitd the pirates to put the couple on the phone. paul chanld ler described how he and his wife were captured. since then, the couple has been shoveled around from location to location as the pirates try to keep their exact whereabouts secret. in a subsequent conversation, hostage rachel chandler spoke to her brother, steven collins. we re working hard for you, i can assure you. thank you. thank you so much. give our love to we love you very much. we think of you all the time. i m sure you do. please try not to worry about us. we won t tell everybody to try. we re speaking to everybody to try and get you released. yes. yes, i realize. and please don t worry about us. we re just we re managing. as to whether the schand lers can come up with $7 million, they aren t wealthy. they put their entire life savings into their sailboat, and the british government says it doesn t give in to ransom demands. lester? george lewis, thank you for the update on that. still to come this halloween morning, the latest halloween thriller cost $15,000 to make tens of millions at the box office. turning screams into gold. this is today on nbc. halloween, this is halloween on halloween weekend, movie audiences are in the mood to scream, good news for the producers of paranormal activity. it was cheap to make and is making big bucks. what makes fright such good business? nbc s miguel almaguer explains. it s what moviegoers want. my hands are shaking because i m really scared. and what so many expect this halloween, a frightening love affair with horror. the cult classic halloween is over 30 years old. moviemakers count on cheap thrills to bring in big bucks. take saw, a serial killer who dreams up inventive ways to murder his victims. now in its sixth installment, and it remains one of the most successful franchises in movie history. there s a built-in audience that at this time of year wants to go to the movies and they want to be scared. these films deliver that. reporter: it s not just blockbusters that can make a fortune, even though most major films have a big studio behind them. when it comes to an old-fashioned scare, it doesn t cost millions to make millions. she thinks there s something in the house. i don t know. you believe me, right? reporter: paranormal activity cost only $15,000 to make, but it s made nearly $70 million since its release in september. in a new marketing ploy, the studio used the internet to generate buzz, asking fans across the country to demand screenings in their hometowns. soon cities like orlando, austin, and chicago had sellout shows. they have to find it. you can t sell it. reporter: john petty and jeffrey obrow know a thing or two about horror movies. they made braham stoker s the mummy. it s the same as a roller coaster ride. it s an adrenaline rush. reporter: that s what will keep drawing long lines this weekend. the only thing scarier than these movies is how much money they ll make. for today, miguel almaguer, nbc news, hollywood. you going to see it? about a year and a half. about a year and a half. and during that time, how often or did your employer ask you to take it off? what was the reaction during that year and a half? never a word about it from nobody. never a word. so, what happened? at what point were you told or asked to remove it or told you were being fired? explain that. started carrying it to work two or three weeks prior to when the incident started. beginning october, about two weeks prior, i carried my bottle, i carried it to my lock locker and read it on my personal time, and shortly after that, that s when it started. but did anyone ever ask you to take the pin off? no, sir no, ma am. i m sorry. karen, home depot says they gave your client, trevor, every opportunity to adhere to the company s dress code and that he chose to continue wearing the pin. it wasn t the pin s message, and they referred specifically to the claim he was bringing his bible to work, that that was not an issue, as well. it was simply a choice by trevor to not adhere to the dress code. that said, doesn t the company have a right to set a dress code for its employees? sure. we re not arguing whether they have a right to set a dress code or not. clearly they do have a right to set a dress code. what happened here is that they chose to enforce the dress code arbitrarily about a year and a half after he began wearing this, and it coincided with him bringing a bible to work, which leads me to believe that he was fired under the pretense of not complying with the dress code but really it had everything to do with his bringing a bible and expressing his religious beliefs. trevor, why is that pin so important to you that it would be worth losing your job over? my belief in god and the troops and the vets, veterans. my brother is fixing to go back overseas, and i m just trying to show all my support i can for him and, you know, stand up for my country. trevor, apparently your manager said you could wear a company-approved pin that says united we stand. why didn t you take that offer? because they wanted to switch that button out for mine because mine said under god. karen and trevor, thanks for joining us. thank you. thank you very much. it is 35 minutes past the hour. time to get another check of the weather fr we had some drizzle this morning in cloud. 57 degrees. this humidity up to 100%. if you breaks in the clouds this afternoon. afternoon. i don t get scared by costumes so, the people who sit there and don t talk give me the creeps. i m beautiful. yes, you are beautiful. let s send it inside, amy. thanks, bill. coming up next, as e chil death toll from the swine flu takes a big jump upward and the vaccine is still in short supply, what is the government doing to protect the population? tough questions for health and human services secretary secretary kathleen sebelius. and what do you say to them? well, i m a mom, and i certainly understand people s anxiety about their kids. the good news, lester, is that we have a vaccine that works and it is being produced in larger kwount quantities each and every week. we as of the end of last week had about 26.6 million doses out around the country, another 10 million expected this week. what we ask parents to do is help us make sure that we get the vaccine first to the high priority. if your child has an underlying health condition, ushds be at the front of the line. if you are a pregnant woman, you should be at the front of the line. and for parents who have healthy kids, you definitely want you to make sure you take advantage of the vaccine. but in the meantime, hand washing, wiping down surfaces, keeping your child home if he or she is sick, still work to stop the spread of the flu. right. you know, i think everyone is heartened to know that the amount of vaccine available is increasing. nonetheless, it s far short of what we were told. i know this is a manufacturing issue. you have to grow this in a chicken egg. but shouldn t the government have known about that? were you overly optimistic or was the government nigh glooef putting out these numbers? well, i think, lester, we were told early on that we d have over 100 million doses. that was changed in july, so we immediately lowered the number that we were talking about to about 40 million in october. unfortunately, that number was off. and all the producers are down. a couple of them are way down. and we probably should have low-balled the number from the outset and not raised expectations, but we were trying to rely on the best information we had. we are now seeing the production ramp up. we have more this week than last week. 10 million new doses were available. this week we re going to have another 10 million next week. and that s good news. and it s being produced as fast as it can and moved as fast as it can. we have cut down some days in the delivery to sites around the country. we also had folks go to each of the production sites. two were in england last week with one of the companies. we re sending people out to see if there s any way to shake down some more days. i was on the phone this week with all five manufacturers saying we are really the demand is well exceeding the supply. anything you can do to accelerate this, we want to work with you to try and make that happen. madam secretary, as you were speaking, we re showing the pictures of some of those line, and there are an ek dole dohhal reports of people who aren t in high-risk groups there, standing with children, those who are at risk, getting shots. was there any thought and is there any thought into policing who s getting it, especially at this time that there is such a shortage? well, again, it s a voluntary vaccination program. the sites are chosen by our state and local health partners. there are no vaccine police. but this is serious for a population of particularly people with underlying health conditions. so, we want to make sure also parents who have children with underlying health conditions, if they begin to get sick, seek a doctor s help. what is alarming, lester, is some of those statistics about hospitalizations and even deaths is that, even with an underlying health condition, the patient did not seek medical care before they presented at the hospital so ill that it was already too late. all right. we re going to end there. health and human services secretary kathleen sebelius. thank you for being here. hope you ll come back as we need information and updates. glad to. thanks. up next, the rock and roll hall of fame turns 25. two of nature s sweetest wonders growing together under the same sun. and now for the first time, in new sun crystals ® . the only 100% natural sweetener made with pure cane sugar and stevia. finally, all the sweetness of nature and just 5 calories a packet. nature gave us the recipe; we just gave it a name. new sun crystals ® all natural sweetener. two natural wonders. one sweet taste™. and stern seems to be the first person ever charged with this as an enabler. the question is were they hurting her or helping her? the defense said it was anna nicole smith who had an appetite for and high tolerance to prescription drugs and that all three of these people were actually trying to get her off of them. if this prosecution is successful, you can all plan to call the d.a. s office every time you ask a doctor for a prescription for pain, because that s going to be the standard. reporter: the doctors say using pseudonyms to prescribe to a celebrity is extremely common to protect their privacy, and stern s defense said he was merely following their instructions. who is howard k. stern to say to a doctor, someone who s trained in medicine, that prescriptions being sought by his lover were inappropriate? reporter: something that now a jury will have to decide. for today, michelle kosinski, nbc news, miami. and now here s lester. amy, thanks. thursday night in little rock, arkansas, a local reporter was live in front of a flooded overpass warning about the dangers of flashflooding. then the camera caught a frightening scene, a woman and her son driving into the floodwaters and getting stuck and frantically signaling for help as their vehicle submerged. help did arrive. we re happy to have amanda stewart and her son, zeke, with us. good morning to both of you. thanks for being with us. good morning. good morning. amanda, before we talk about what xa what exactly happened, do both of you have a clean bill of health? any lingering effects from the ordeal? yes, we do. and what is that? well, we just thank god for being alive. yeah. amanda, you saw the water ahead and you have a pretty big suv. did you think you could make it or at one point did you realize that you were going to have to back up? i knew that i had to back up. i tried to back up but but my truck, like, wouldn t go in reverse. instead, it was going forward into the water. i m sure you ve seen these pictures that were broadcast on live tv, but does any of what you were seeing match up with what you were experiencing in the car? what was happening at this moment? i didn t know all that was going on when i watched the video. i mean, it just looked real scary. i didn t know what was going on. we see a bystander who waded into the water. he was followed by fire rescuers. but how high did the water get? and were you trying to get out of the vehicle and unable exactly? what happened? well, when my truck was pulling into the water, my son was saying, mom, we re going to die. so, i got my phone and called 911 and called the police and told the police we were stuck in a ditch i mean the water and that the water was filling up in my truck and that we needed help. and so when the water continued to fill up in the truck, me and my son jumped to the very back and the truck just started filling up faster. faster like like 25 seconds or 30. zeke, how high did the water get? i mean, how loos to being totally submerged were you? it was like it was like to my chins, and my mom to my mom it only got to her neck because and then my mom told me to keep my head up. and, zeke, what do you remember about the rescue? when the fire department came, the first man just came and put the rope on the truck and then the fireman, he the dude with the axe, he came to our truck and then bust out the window, and then he grab me by my mom and grab my mom by her legs. i know you re both grateful for that bystander and the firefighters who came to your aid. we re so happy you re both safe and sound this morning. amanda stewart, zeke wright, thanks for being with us this morning. we appreciate it. thank you. you re welcome. coming up, the scariest movies of all time. head. i don t want to worry about my computer freezing or crashing. i decided to tell microsoft about it. and suddenly, windows 7. i don t know how they did it but i have lots of stuff going on right now and, do i look worried? here s johnny! have you checked the children? scariest movie of all time was definitely silence of the lamb lambs. closer. for me the sayreiest movie was the sixth sense. i see dead people. my sister and i almost ran out of the theater. definitely freddy kruger. you know, if you went to sleep, you know he s coming for you. favorite scary movie of all time would have to be scream. paranormal activity. the exorcism in that movie rose. definitely. the exorcist. with the father and the holy spirit! cape fear. robert de niro positively scared me. i love scary movies. halloween. i can t watch it. i have to close my eyes. michael myers. joining us now for a he-said-she-said look at the scariest movies of all time, alison bales and dave kevin garnetter. good morning and happy halloween. thank you. i m so excited about this segment. i saw my first scary movie when i was 8, poltergeist, and i loved it. why do people like me i see a twinkle in your eye why do we like to scare ourselves silly? i feel like we spend most of our lives running away from our fears and it s for these two hours you confront them head on. i don t get this at all. i hate to be scared. it s the worst part of my job. i would never complain about my job, having to see films, but the horror films, i block my ear, don t understand the sound effects. let s start off. we broke these movies into five different categories. horror classics, allison? rosemary s baby. when you compare it to today s movies it s not like horror, horror, but it s so chilling and i think it s made extra specially good by gordon, the friendly neighbor, character arriving at the building and she s not who she would appear. dave, what did you think? the shining, not only the creepy jack nicholson performance but so many creepy things in this film. twin ghosts in the hallway. our thriller category, dave, what s your favorite? silence of the lambs, like one of your viewers. that is a horror film that goes so beyond a surface horror. there s real emotion, real human stories. plus the buffalo bill character is one of the scariest characters i ve seen. allison, your pick i love this movie. it s from 2005. it s a british film. i kept looking at the exit thinking, is anyone going to know if i sflooef i have to leave. i can t stand it. a group of women go underground. before the monsters arrive, they re trapped underground. there s a different version end the english version. they changed it for the u.s. definitely one to check out. really scary. our third category is supernatural. dave, my first poltergeist. i was 9 years old when that movie came out. so many visuals from that, the steak that moves across the counter, the clown, the fuzzy screen on the tv. it s been decades. i will never forget those images. beneath lneither will i. i saw poerlt geist later in my life and it didn t get to me. allison, your pick was also one of my favorites for the supernatural, a 70s classic. the original the omen with gregory peck who, you know, you wouldn t expect to show up in a horror film. one of the titles they had was the anti-crist, and then they were going to call it the birthmark, but if they did that, it would haven t the same effect. can you ever meet a kid named damian and not think about the film? before we let you go, this next big hit, this is one completely unexpected, paranormal activity. you saw it, i saw it. conflicting views. i think it should be called paranormal inactivity. that s what makes it scary, the maun daneness of it, it could happen to anyone. the fact they made it for $11,000. it looks like it, though. but it feels real. it feels like this is home video you re watching. if like the blair witch, we thought it was real, you know paranormal activity isn t real. it looks like bad home movies. i like it better than blair witch. so did i. two against one. thanks so much. we appreciate it. speaking of scary, lester and i are about to get into our halloween costumes. you don t want to miss it. love to save?
