conservative enough, you mentioned earlier that some republicans are saying that. this is a guy who doesn't have a discernible ideology. he's extremely aimable, but he's not one you would say he is one of those rock rib conservatives. he's rocketed to the top very fast with very little experience. hasn't run a committee in congress, and i think it's going to be a real test to see if he has the discipline to not make these kinds of mistakes. >> michael steele, it seems hard to predict a long run for kevin mccart mccarthy as speaker. >> i don't know how long it will be, but i know conservative, the tea party conservatives in particular are going to be very antsy about his early steps. this certainly does not help those early steps. you're going to see for the majority leard post and other posts them wanting to put the personnel in those roles. in december, there's another vote on shutting down the
