Amazon slammed after banning books it says frames transgenderism as mental illness

When Harry Became Sally' author Ryan Anderson details the situation on 'The Ingraham Angle'
Liberal billionaire Jeff Bezos's behemoth online retailer Amazon is receiving fierce criticism after announcing it would no longer sell books that it says frame transgender and other sexual identities as mental illnesses.
Amazon announced the decision in a letter sent to Republican lawmakers that was obtained and published by the Wall Street Journal. Sens. Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, Mike Braun, and Josh Hawley had inquired why the online retailer pulled Ryan T. Anderson’s bestselling book, "When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment," which has been characterized by the Bezos-owned Washington Post as anti-transgender.

We're all feeding into big-tech control | News, Sports, Jobs

Big Tech is waging a disgraceful war on the political right. Big Tech includes Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
Leading up to the election, Big Tech colluded with the Deep State and the Democratic Party to censor stories reporting that the Biden family, including Joe Biden, illegally peddled influence. These stories were most likely true. The evidence for these stories rested on Hunter Biden’s emails, the fact that the FBI is investigating him for money laundering, and the Ukrainian energy company Burisma’s paying him $83,000 per month despite his lacking any relevant expertise. Leading up to the election, Big Tech shut down the New York Post’s Twitter site over the story as well as other people’s attempts to discuss it.

Amazon pulled Justice Clarence Thomas documentary as censorship of conservative content continues

Fox News Flash top headlines are here. Check out what's clicking on Foxnews.com.
Amazon continues to generate headlines for canceling content that doesn’t coincide with its liberal politics and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas appears to be the latest victim.
The documentary film about Thomas, "Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words," was removed from Amazon’s streaming service last month and the filmmaker said he was never given an explanation.
"What Amazon has done is a disservice to anyone—black or white—who is interested in the rich history of black Americans," Wall Street Journal columnist Jason L. Riley wrote about the decision.

Cancelled by Amazon: Clarence Thomas, Michael Brown documentaries, books on gender top growing list

"When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment"
Conservative author Ryan T. Anderson said this week his book, "When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment," was removed from Amazon last month.
"When Harry Became Sally," which had previously been on Amazon’s bestseller list, aimed to provide "thoughtful answers to questions arising from our transgender moment" and offered a "a balanced approach to public policy on gender identity, and a sober assessment of the human costs of getting human nature wrong."
A search of Amazon for "When Harry Became Sally" doesn’t find Anderson’s book, instead suggesting books with the opposite view such as "The End of Gender: Debunking the Myths about Sex and Identity in Our Society," "Understanding Gender Dysphoria: Navigating Transgender Issues in a Changing Culture" and "Let Harry Become Sally: Responding to the Anti-Transgender Moment."

On July 5, 2019, I posted an article titled, “Will Amazon Ban the Bible Next?” That’s because  Amazon had removed the books of Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, the psychologist whom critics have dubbed “the father of conversion therapy.” In other words, for claiming that sexual orientation is not innate and immutable and for claiming that change is possible, Dr. Nicolosi’s books must be banned.

Jeff Bezos' Washington Post ignores Amazon decision to remove book on transgenderism

When Harry Became Sally' author Ryan Anderson details the situation on 'The Ingraham Angle'
A controversial decision by billionaire Jeff Bezos's behemoth online retailer Amazon to remove a bestselling book has gone unreported by his newspaper, the Washington Post.
Author Ryan T. Anderson said this week his book, "When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment," was removed from Amazon. The decision caused swift backlash, as critics pointed out Amazon has a history of censoring books that don’t coincide with the company’s liberal political views.
While the Washington Post has not covered the decision by Amazon to remove the book, it did cover the same book in 2018 with a story headlined, "Ryan Anderson’s book on transgender people is creating an uproar."
