Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the New York brand took Broadway by storm.

Remember places? Specifically, remember New York City? The illustrious town went noticeably quiet during the onset of the pandemic, but with vaccinations on the rise and its former residents returning on their pilgrimage back from the states they inhabited during quarantine, the city is waking up. In a place known for its pessimism, Michael Kors is a true optimist. And with his brand's 40th birthday, there was more than a little to celebrate.

Megan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian Revive the Pop-Punk Trend

Style Points is a weekly column about how fashion intersects with the wider world.
Spring 2021 has brought with it the mass re-emergence of some controversial early-2000’s trends: the low-rise trouser, the visible thong, the going-out top. But a different, edgier side of the decade is in evidence too, if not on the runway, then in a certain subset of celebrity style. Some people, it seems, want to surface from the pandemic showing off not their erogenous zones but their scene cred. Pop-punk has become the season's hottest topic (I'm so sorry!) with staples like graphic tees, plaid trousers, creepers, and Vans showing up on notables ranging from Gen Z (TikToker Addison Rae) to Gen X (Kourtney Kardashian).

Oversized collars may not be the most glamorous sartorial choice, but they are Copenhagen it-girl cool, which is the pinnacle of a fashion indie darling with the best-layered looks in town.
WATCH: Gigi Hadid stuns at the Versace runway.
The bigger, the better is the go here as we break away from the tiny and refined looks over the past ten years of fashion (think: crop-tops, cut-outs, micro-collars and sleek silhouettes).
But if huge embroidered or lacy collars aren’t your thing, then subtle frills is a great substitute.

Fyre Festival attendees to be awarded $7,220 each in $2 mn class-action settlement
Nearly four years after an infamous festival that was billed as an ultraluxurious musical getaway in the Bahamas left attendees scrounging for makeshift shelter on a dark beach, a court has decided how much the nightmare was worth: approximately $7,220 apiece.
The $2 million class-action settlement, reached Tuesday in US Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York between organisers and 277 ticket holders from the 2017 event, is still subject to final approval, and the amount could ultimately be lower depending on the outcome of Fyre’s bankruptcy case with other creditors.
