Women of the world, Michael Kors has a message. “I keep saying, ‘Ladies, you’ve got to practice walking in heels again,’” the designer said at a virtual preview of his autumn-winter 2021 collection on Monday. “I think everyone’s going to want to strut their stuff.”
The designer, who celebrated his 40th anniversary with a show beamed to the world from Broadway’s Shubert Theatre on Tuesday, has been a consistent advocate of the glossiest vision of luxury over his decades in fashion. His latest collection was a defiant clap-back at anyone who ever said that sweatpants killed fashion. 

On the 40th anniversary of his eponymous brand, Michael Kors pulled off the ultimate power move. Showing how beloved he is in the showbiz industry, fashion’s greatest entertainer invited Broadway’s best to introduce his autumn/winter 2021 show. Billy Porter, Bette Midler, Jane Krakowski, Rosario Dawson, Debra Messing, Alan Cumming, Marisa Tomei and Judith Light, among others, served as the warm-up act for Kors’s love letter to theatre, while raising awareness of the Actors Fund. In lieu of birthday gifts, the designer and his company both donated to the performing arts emergency aid organisation.

Another day, another Kylie Jenner bikini pic - and she's ticking alll the summer trends with this one. She hopped on a jet to Palm Springs this time, changing it up from her usual Calabasas stomping grounds.
The 23-year-old shared a sunny poolside snap of herself wearing the coolest hand-crocheted swimwear by slow fashion label Memorial Day. The string bikini is covered in a pink and red checkerboard pattern, which is one of the biggest trends of the year, along with crochet.
She's worn it high up on her hips, highlighted by a golden belly chain and long string ties dangling at the sides. And the finishing touches? Big, bold hoop earrings, golden rings, and a delicate necklace.

The organisers of the awful, memed-to-oblivion Fyre Festival have agreed on a $US7,220 ($9,333) per person settlement with 277 attendees of the 2017 event, according to the New York Times.
It’s hard to believe it has been almost four years since the festival – which was branded as the most luxurious music event in the world – left attendees eating sandwiches that looked like they came from the cafeteria of an underfunded school.

People who attended the absolute horror show that was Fyre Festival are in for a massive pay day.
Nearly four years after hundreds of people flew to a tropical island in the Bahamas to hear the likes of Migos, Disclosure, Blink-182, Major Lazer belt out some bangers, attendees have finally won.
A class action lawsuit has has been successful in getting compensation for all the attendees who signed up.
The 277 people who joined the lawsuit will now get $7,200 each.

Nearly four years after an infamous festival that was billed as an ultraluxurious musical getaway in the Bahamas left attendees scrounging for makeshift shelter on a dark beach, a court has decided how much the nightmare was worth: approximately $7,220 apiece.
The $2 million class-action settlement, reached Tuesday in US Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York between organisers and 277 ticket holders from the 2017 event, is still subject to final approval, and the amount could ultimately be lower depending on the outcome of Fyre’s bankruptcy case with other creditors.
