high cloudiness later this afternoon. should be a mostly sunny day. bright, hazy and hot. as mentioned, our temperatures will get close to a record, which is 102 for today. here s your forecast. 99 in washington. 99 columbia. colonial beach about 98 degrees. heat wave continues tomorrow and relief on the five-day. back upstairs to you. tucker, thank you very much. we begin this hour with breaking news. at least 17 people injured in a shooting overnight inside a bar in tuscaloosa, alabama. we understand the bar is a hangout popular with the university of alabama students. police have released surveillance video. it appears to show the gunman walking across the parking lot with what looks to be a gun in hand and he goes into the bar. a hospital in the area confirms they are treating 17 people, at least two of them critical. it s unclear whether all of them were shot or whether some were hurt in the panic. federal authorities are working with local police to figure out exact
yesterday. you can see water gushing at the scene. mandatory water restrictions are back in place but only for the town of rockville. this is the second water main problem in potomac this week but this time wssc customers are not effected. crews from the city of rockville department of public works are handling it. right now we have the replacement pipe and collars on- site so the next step is to put them back in place. we have to make sure the line is chlorinated and free of bacteria and the bacteria test will take several hours. so we anticipate water restrictions being in place for at least another 24 hours or so. this latest break is not part of the line that had problems last week. it will be a while before residents in our area get relief from the heat. crews are fast at work to get power restored. audrey barns joins us live from northwest d.c. with more on this developing story. audrey. reporter: good morning, once again. pepco said a primary cable and feeder
