Shaniera Akram challenged on Friday restaurant Cannoliâs owners, who mocked their manager's English, to an English competition.
Taking to her Instagram, Akram said she was challenging the âladiesâ [Uzma and Dia] because she was "bored" too.

The two owners of restaurant Cannoli by Cafe Soul in Islamabad, who have been widely slammed for mocking their employee's English proficiency, were put to shame in a parody video posted by comedian and rapper Ali Gul Pir.
The video has been made in collaboration with British-Pakistani television journalist George Fulton, who is portrayed as the employee at the receiving end of ridicule by his employers.

The owners of an Islamabad restaurant, Cannoli by Cafe Soul, who have been shamed for ridiculing an employee over his English language skills, have themselves been mocked in a parody video posted by comedian and rapper Ali Gul Pir.
The video has been made in collaboration with British-Pakistani television journalist George Fulton, who is portrayed as the employee at the receiving end of his employers' disparaging behaviour.

A video coming in from Islamabad has gone viral but it has angered the netizens in its wake. It was taken at a popular high-end restaurant in the Pakistani capital named 'Cannoli by Cafe Soul.'
The video entails the restaurant's owners, named Uzma and Deeya, talking to the manager of the establishment, Owais, and enquiring about his English-speaking abilities as the two women were 'bored'. Owais has been working with them since their previous restaurant and has been with them for about nine years.

Two content writers from Islamabad, working under the Limo Soda Show brand, have invited citizens to participate in an Urdu
mushaira (a poetry recital), in response to a video of two restaurant owners mocking their employee for his English language skills.
Fittingly, the event will be held outside the place where the unfortunate incident took place — the restaurant Cannoli by Cafe Soul in Islamabad — on Saturday, January 23.
So far 11,000 people have responded to the invitation, with 1,600 indicating they are going and 9,400 saying they are interested.

Owners of Cannoli by Cafe Soul in Pakistan’s federal capital are facing a backlash on social media after a video of them mocking their manger for his weak English has gone viral.
In the video, now making rounds on the social media, the women introduce themselves as Uzma and Dia and ask their manager to introduce himself in English and then make fun of him as he faces difficulty in speaking in a language he is clearly not comfortable with.
"Could you please speak to everyone in English?" Uzma requests. The video shows the two women make fun of manger Awais as he speaks in English at the owners’ request.
