back to you. thank you very much, mike. 6:00. we continue to monitor breaking news this morning. it happened overnight out of the east bay. a suspicious death is under investigation at a best western in concord. today in the bay s pete suratos is live this morning. we understand the scene is cleared. when we spoke with you last hour, investigators were staying tight lipped. that s right. very tight lipped as far as the cause of the suspicious death. the scene cleared roughly 30 minutes ago at the best western in concord. we do have video of the scene earlier. you saw a number of police patrol cars handling this investigation. as i mentioned, the information is very limited. police posting this happened roughly around 1:00 a.m. or just after 1:00 a.m., their investigation into a suspicious death inside a hotel room here. i did get a chance to listen to dispatch. this may have been a female found dead inside that hotel room and may have been attacked. of course, t ....
better chance in the north bay at 4:00. pretty much gone by 9:00. clouds start opening at noon. an hour by hour look coming up. here s kristen. new this morning, a scary scene in the air. an air canada flight en route to sfo to toronto had to be diverted to denver this morning after a passenger became disruptive. a woman on the plane tells abc 7 news the man in a maroon sweater ran up and down the aisle and punched a male flight attendant who was trying to keep him from opening the cabin door on air canada flight 758. he was escorted off the plane in denver. no word yet on the motive behind the disruption. we are working to get a response from both air canada and the faa. safari west in santa rosa is open this morning for the first time since the devastating north bay wildfires six weeks ago. the animal preserve is lucky to have escaped with minimal damage and no loss of animal lives. abc 7 news reporter amy hollyfield was there this morning as the first visitors re ....
