I believe i firmly believe that each one of us in this chamber much opposed this session with a courtcutting principle. Until every person in our state who wants a job can find one, we have more work to do. Our first five programs, along with the addition of jackson laboratories, has leveraged a 180 million commitment public funding to drive more than 2 billion in private investment. Protesters gather in charlotte peacefully for a fourth night of demonstrations hours after cell phone video shows the police sheeting of Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed. The video was caught by his widow who began recording. Its unclear what happened in the minutes before the video begins and the video does not clearly show the moment when scott was shot by police. She can be heard pleading with police not to shoot her husband telling them hes suffering from a traumatic brain injury and saying he does not have a weapon.
