employee numbers. you know the person who run as real estate office doesn't have employee numbers, official numbers for everybody. there were other things like, you know, they said you could have employee work for 90 days before you cover them for insurance. make sure they stay. that is the law. when you have the pull-down menu how long will you delay it, that wasn't an option. 60 days was longest that you wait before letting them enroll. there are errors in the actual website. bill: took a year to figure this out. >> more than a year. more than a year. it is appalling. bill: november 1st it went online, right. >> that's right. bill: we're on december 1st. >> this is when people find all the problems going in. there are insurance brokers who said they have directed their clients to go to the website in order to sign up and then they aren't appearing as someone they can buy it from, even though they're supposedly in the pool. the guy says i'm basically out of business here. really incredible. bill: 200,000 people come by and look according to the government's numbers. >> the government's own numb business, compared to 1.5 who
target or kmart or other stores. it's always walmart that seems to be in the crosshairs. why is that? >> reporter: well, let's look at the employee numbers. very, very simply, target has approximately 300,000 employees in the united states, compare that toalmart wch hasapproximat. that, carol, is about 1% of the u.s. labor force, so when the ceo says a big stage, that's what he's talking about, but protesters who are going to be showing up here at this walmart says it is a fully appropriate stage to have this conversation. the conversation about low wages. yes, many of the employees did volunteer to work today to make time and a half because the base wage is so low. certainly so low that you can't support a family of four, especially in an expensive place like los angeles. protesters expecting about 100 to 500 people to show up just outside of this walmart and if you do look at the composition
