reporter: police say that the home that was innedvaded and the home next door both had marijuana growing at them. in the home where the criminals stormed into, there were two small children sleeping. when armed men broke down the door before 1:00 this morning they got quits a surprise armed homeowner. during that exchange two suspects were shot and fled the scene. reporter: police put out an alert for officers to watch hospitals for the suspect vehicle. and an hour later a sheriff s deputy spotted it pulling into the kaiser permanente parking lot. the suspects barricaded them in the vehicle and refused to come out. he was convinced these were the suspects from the home invasion. reporter: the stand-off lasted 30 minutes and then officers fired a tear gas canister into the truck. one subject has critical gunshot wounds and another located deceased in the backseat of the vehicle. reporter: officers think they know why the men wanted inside the home. it app ....
