His research focuses on issues that face veterans and military personnel, force structure and readiness issues and several military relations. His most recentat article, what america owes its veterans is published in this Current Issue of Foreign Affairs magazine. Serving in iraq from 2005 until 2006 as an advisor to the state Department Reconstruction team, mr. Carter then returned home to increasing involvement in veterans and national affairs. I as a society and as a culture, we protect harassers. If someone can tell me why. That is the 20 milliondollar question. Why do we do that. Its because were protecting our own job . Is it because were protecting a person in power . I think those are the two top reasons. Now that the floodgates have been open, i give so much credit to the women. Will. That doesnt mean theyre only eight people that were held assaulted or raped, there were other people who were raped who have come forward who have not reached settlements. Rape is a crime so that is a longer statute of limitations. With regard to Sexual Harassment, you dont have a lot of time to file a claim. Different in every state in the depends if its a federal violation or state violation. There are so many ways we should look into the law to help women come forward but especially with the issue of Sexual Harassment w ....
