For some people living on the streets, there’s skepticism about getting the COVID-19 vaccination.
“Some people don’t care, or they really don’t believe in the virus,” said Paris Avila while standing outside a homeless encampment in Denver, Colorado. "A lot of people believe in hoaxes and government and stuff like that. A lot of people think it's control to kill people off."
Now, some religious leaders are working to change that by opening the doors to their places of worship and turning them into vaccination sites.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- A Western Michigan University alumnus has opened his second Chick-fil-A location in Kalamazoo County with the grand opening of the 504 N. Drake Road restaurant.
Owner Idris Rashid and his wife Marcia celebrated the grand opening of the new location at the corner of West Main Street and Drake Road. Due to indoor dining restrictions the restaurant will be open drive-thru only 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Rashid opened the Westnedge Avenue location in 2017 and has recruited students from WMU to build his team at both locations, he said.
