[ inaudible ] thank you for the opportunity to talk about the center and quite honestly the state im very proud of, the state of indiana. Weve been around since 1989. Weve got 27 years of successfully linking community and academic expertise. Our goals are to build capacity in a states agency. The volunteer associations, the citizens of the state of indiana and so forth. Weve done a lot of work in emergency management, but the reason weve been successful is not because uniquely of the resources in our center but because of the atmosphere that exists in the state of indiana. Case in point, within indiana weve had the privilege of working with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to complete mitigation plans in close collaboration with the counties and cities and towns of the state of indiana. The approach we take is highly collaborative, so unlike many situations that we hear about where a plan is created and set aside on a shelf, if you would, which unfortunately i think does of

Caller i havent flown since the 1970s since i was a kid so i hear the stories. I wouldnt want to go on a plane. I went to disneyland and a couple other places in the late 70s and jumpen on a plane was as innocent and fun as jumping on a Greyhound Bus. I havent been on a Greyhound Bus in 0 years. That was also very 20 years. That was very easy. Im wondering whats happening with buses and trains. Thats probably next. Host how do you get around
The house side. Outside the formal hearing process, just sitting down and explaining what hes trying to do one him a lot of allies on the senate side. That sort of speaks to the dysfunction in congress. Reporter senator isakson has done more negotiations with the v. A. And white house than his House Republican counterparts. If the white house signs off on this, if they can get House Republicans to sign out on it. Host and the pipeline of veterans coming into the system, your facial expression tells the story. Reporter the number of women coming into the the a is going to double and they have unique requirements and demands. The number of serviceconnected disabled veterans is going up in their demands are going to increase. Either know a lot of veterans who have lost limbs or have genital ones. Their care and costs are going to increase and increase. We have the world war ii and korean veterans population going down slightly but this new generation is demanding Costly Services and they
United states. Number two, why is it the cubans are allowed to come through. Osta rica as a port of entry and automatically become eligible for citizenship . Thank you. That is a very similar question that has come up a lot in the briefs in this case. Classes of lot of immigrants, including refugees from unstable political situations, who congress has said can come into the United States in an accident fashion. Ofre are a lot of examples categories of people that pass administration, including the clinton and bush administration, that says, we do not have time to get a law passed. We are just going to allow it. You have seen that play out. Theyre trying to tell the court, congress has that at this time and this time and this time and that only congress can do it. Administration comes back and says, administration has done it this time, this time, and this time. It will be up to the court to balance those two out. The notion that Illegal Immigrants dont pay their share of taxes is just
