Abusive caregivers in Marina, California 'took a disabled man drag racing and gave him marijuana'

A severely mentally ill man was abused by caregivers who landed him in the hospital twice after taking him drag racing and giving him marijuana, according to a lawsuit.
Tyler Berry, 30, has autism, bipolar disorder and several physical health conditions including a life-threatening endocrine disorder and blindness that leave him needing 24-hour care.
But staff at assisted living service Spread Your Wings LLC in Marina, California repeatedly mistreated him and denied him important medications, according to a law suit filed by his mother, Brandy Berry.
In one alleged incident, a caregiver attacked him after he woke her up from a drunken stupor.

Spread Your Wings: Sense of deja vu blights otherwise charming French flick

Christian has a radical solution, but government cuts mean he’ll have to do it without funding. It involves imprinting on the latest generation, driving them all in a van to Lapland and then persuading them to follow his ultralight aircraft back home via a less dangerous path.
However, having already forged his department’s authority, Christian and the surprisingly enthused Thomas now find themselves at the mercy of Norwegian authorities who aren’t keen on having the gaggle running wild on their soil without absolute guarantees they’re not bird flu free. So when, after 10 days of cooling their heels frustration finally gets the better of Christian, Thomas is forced to take drastic action to prevent their brood being impounded.
