residents of fort myers beach, one of the hardest hit towns in the state began returning to their homes over the weekend as well. let's bring in abc's stephanie stanton in the nearby town of fort myers. stephanie, talk to us about what you've seen today. what are residents telling you as things start to get back to normal? >> good afternoon, erin. i am here in the city, the town, of fort myers beach itself. the destruction and devastation that we are seeing, cannot be put into words. let me show you what's happening here. i'm going to have my camera man pan over to this pile of rubble here. this was what was once shockers bar and grill. you can see, there is absolutely nothing left. we have a picture to give you some perspective of what it looked like before the storm hit. once again, the destruction that is left behind after this category four hurricane made a direct hit or to this area.
