So they will study state and which haveletins, been written to serve as guides in Victory Gardens. Now lets see on this little quarter acrer garden the plan they work out. Heres the early garden. Here, potatoes. Then two double rows of peas early, medium and late. One row of cabbage. Of carrots and beets. Half a row each. One double row of greens, chard. , mustard and tomatoes. Peppers, half a roll. Unionss, lettuces and on next to the house onions next to the house. Rhubarb. And beans. Four rows of sweet corn along the fence. And finally, two rows of lima the early garden. The period i was reacher researching it it was a period that a lot was changing in the corporate world and you had dispersed fullblown lifestyle brand which is an idea that we all take for granted that these are companies that for the first time were declaring the Business Model wasnt to sell products but ideas, the lifestyle, sense of belonging the that they could then extend into kind of selfimposed cocoons and sell everything as long as it was branded with this logo. They were the first one to do this. They didnt ever own their factories and this was the main thing i learned when ....

I know i certainly did. When i was here a couple of years ago. This morning, im going to talk about the food fight, or rationing, in world war ii. We all know that teenagers and have large appetites. I have one at home with an incredibly large appetite. I like to try and engage kids with the topic that not only fits their appetite, but also increases their appetite for learning. And i find that food is oftentimes a very engaging topic. Napoleon, or frederick the great, depending on who you listen to, once said, an army marches on its stomach. To supply not just the u. S. And this is obviously a huge topic, we can spend an entire semester just on this topic alone.
