Lawrence karnow we enoyed a lot of sunshine and warmer weather today with some highs in the low 70s. It will be a nice mild evening and more spring like weather is ahead. If youre going out tonight youll need a light jacket or coat. Temperatures will begin mild but cool off rapidly. You can see some rain on Doppler Radar but it is well to the north. High pressure can be seen on the satellite image. Its a rather flat ridge allowing a few clouds to move over from time to time but well stay dry. As we head toward the later part of the week the ridge will strengthen to bring more sunshine and temperatures well above normal. For tomorrow we will see sunshine and a few clouds with mild temperatures in the 60s. We can expect a similar day on thursday. Were working to get more details from chp oakland as well as the Contra Costa Sheriffs Department which are handling this investigation, but at least from the scene on san pablo avenue i can tell you that the scene is clear, wont affect any traffic in the area. There are reports of a shooting in richmond with at least that driver crashing their car just off the off ramp off of 80 west. We will show you video from this scene. This is from roughly around 11 00 p. M. So the scene has cleared for quite some time, but information that were getting or our crews got from officers on the scene is that apparently the shooting happened just after 11 00 p. M. , its unclear if that shooting happened on the freeway but that convertible, that crash just off the off ramp off of 80 west and san pablo avenue. We do know ....
