The real reason Tokyo is choosing to run prime-time Olympic swimming finals in the morning

All of the highly anticipated Tokyo Olympics swimming finals have been broadcast during the morning - and it's because of the time difference for those in the US.
Usually the heats are held in the mornings with the finals coming later on in the evening but this year the schedule has been flipped.
While there's little time difference between Japan and Australia, if the finals were shown at night this would mean those living in the United States would have to wake up in the early hours of the morning to watch them.
So instead the organisers of the Tokyo Games have switched up the schedule for the American networks such as the NBC who have forked out millions of dollars to broadcast the event.

Dean Boxall puts on a less frenzied display after Ariarne Titmus wins second gold at Tokyo Olympics

The Australian coach whose wild celebration at the Tokyo Olympics after his charge's first gold medal went viral around the world has given a more toned down performance after her second victory in the pool.
Dean Boxall became internationally famous when he wildly danced, pumped the air and shook a balustrade at the Olympic swimming venue after his protege Ariarne Titmus took gold in the 400m freestyle final on Monday.
Today he showed more restraint as Titmus won her second gold medal in the 200m freestyle.
But he still celebrated. Standing with other members of the Australian team, Boxall raced down the stands and uppercut the air with his right arm multiple times in a more muted celebration than his earlier one.
