Hong Kong Reopened Bars, but Only If You’re Vaccinated. Will That Boost Lackluster Immunization Rates?

Linq, which bills itself as an LGBTQ-friendly bar in Hong Kong’s Central district, roared back to life this weekend—more than 5 months closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. While revelers, some of them shirtless, danced to Dua Lupa inside on Friday night, bar staff outside struggled to make sure everyone was complying with the new government’s regulations that allowed Linq to open its doors.
