so there are leaders inside the boy scouts of america who have actively been working for many years to get the policy change. we had a near miss a couple of years ago, the policy was changed so youth could be members, gay youth could be members of the boy scouts of america and we were hopeful two years ago when that policy was proposed, that policy change, that it would also include adults and scout employees. unfortunately they stopped two steps short. so it was a partial step better than nothing at all. but many of us were hopeful two years ago this would have been addressed at once and the boy scouts of america would put its legacy of lgbt discrimination behind it once and for all. they've elected to move in steps and that's fine because they are moving forward in the right direction. >> i have a picture of you and your family at the supreme court last month. you and your partner are the named plaintiffs in the case out of your home state of kentucky. how much anticipation is there in your household right now? >> it's phenomenal. we're reading everything watching every move. we get little glimpses of what
