parts in the midwest, possible blizzard conditions. michigan is where we find the weather channel's mike seidel. what is going on there? >> reporter: it was blowing snow back in february. today, it's blowing sand. look at the wind here turning these -- they've got bulldozers already working the streets. this street is closed because by later tonight, we'll have wave action from lake michigan coming up on to beach street. these waves are ripping up. whoa! boy, that stings. now, these winds right now are gusting about 45, 46 miles an hour, but we will have gusts as high as 65 to 70 miles an hour through tomorrow night, that's why we have the high wind warning out on the lake, we've got a storm warning out on the middle of the lake.
