little boy halfway around the here in this country send a little boy halfway around the world all by himself? captions paid for by nbc-universal television good morning, everyone. welcome to today on this saturday morning, april 10. welcome back. thank you. you ve been gone a lot. i have been following this major story, i think we all were holding out hope that we re going to get a miracle. the search and the hopes coming to an end this morning. all 29 coal miners trapped in that huge explosion have now been confirmed dead making it the country s worst mining accident in 40 years. we ll get the latest from the scene. and the end of an era, after 35 years on the supreme court will retire this summer. and tiger woods starts off the weekend in fine form at the masters tournament, hardly missing a beat after an absence of almost five months. i think a lot of us probably have trouble throwing things out. but today you re going to meet a compulsive hoarder. we ll find out what can be done about it. our top story first, the sad news from west virginia. tom costello is there for us this morning. tom? lester, good morning to you, the death toll now stands at 29, making this the worst mining disaster since 1970. rescuers realized when they got in last night that the conditions were so bad inside this mine that they had walked past bodies of those four missing miners they were hoping to find alive, they walked past those miners on the very first day and they never saw them. we did not receive the miracle. reporter: it was early morning when the news broke. we have accounted for the four minersa have been s that unaccounted for. we have 29 great miners that we re recovering at this time. the journey has ended and now the healing will start. reporter: four days after a massive explosion at the upper branch mine, hope of the remaining miners being found alive were dashed when no one was found alive. is. there s no way that life could be sustained in that type of atmosphere, even for a short period of time. he came and he saved my soul on friday this community started coming together mourning those already recovered from the mine. he led them on. reporter: carl mccord, loved the mines too, though his family said he had grown worried recently about just how safe this mine was. stephen harrah, smiley they called him, was on his way out of the mine when it exploded. roosevelt lynch who put 30 years into the mine. deward scott, a miner for 21 years. reporter: tom davis lost a son cory as well as a nephew josh. president obama read from the letter on friday. i love you, take care of my baby, tell her that daddy loves her, she s beautiful, she s funny, just take care of my baby girl. reporter: all of them proud to be coal miners, but also fathers, sons, brothers and husbands. this investigation could take up to a year, the company has been defending itself all week against allegations that it has been running an unsafe mine and building up violation after violation with the federal government. meanwhile president obama has already asked that an initial assessment of what caused this accident be on his desk sometime next week and he wants to ensure that this never happens again. lester. and is there any estimate of how long it will take to recover the victims? reporter: 22 bodies are still flds that mine. they want to start removing them today. they want to do it with dignity, they want to make sure that every miner comes out in a respectful manner. but they want to make sure that they plot each body as it is found and map it out for the investigation. a former coal miner who has written several books on mines, thank you for coming on with us. good morning lester. not the outcome that any of us perhaps expected or were hoping for. we heard from tom there about this process of recovering the bodies. is there still a fair amount of danger as these searchers and recovery crews enter that mine? there is of course because methane is still probably coming out of that coal by the buckets. but this is their world, these mine rescuers are well trained. the mine safety and health academy is not 50 miles from this accident. these guys are true heroes, they know exactly what they re doing. as was mentioned, they re going to go get these miners and bring them out with dignity. so, you know, everyone involved with coal mining is just shocked this morning. we never thought that we would have an accident of this size with a blast with this amount of energy. coal miners are smart, they re savvy, i hoped that these four would be able to self-rescue themselves. i don t think they ever had a chance, this blast was so huge. i think a lot of us were stunned to hear that the searchers went past these four bodies but never saw them because of the conditions inside. we know that they were turned away on a couple of occasions. what about the suddenness of all of this, we re hearing methane week, so there could have been no warning then? this blast to me is very, very mysterious. methane is a sneaky gas, it can go up into the mine and this happened at shift change, and we know a lot of accidents that happen at shift change, but the amount of methane that caused this kind of explosion should have been picked up with the equipment that the might have beeners carry. this shift change brought in some sort of ignition spark. but all this is going to come out, again in a modern american coal mine this should not happen. are you telling me that there s technology out there that s not being used or not being deployed properly? we know very well how to ventilate a mine. every miner, that s at the top of their training. this mine was very deep. the coal that they were mining exuded methane by the buckets, and there were also a lot of fractures roofs. you can bet that the massey mining engineers were paying a lot of attention to it. so were the inspectors, they were in there a lot. they knew how difficult the working conditions were. how it was possible for that amount of methane to build up, that really boggles my brain. and i think we re going to find that this is not quite so straight forward as we thought. something happened here that was very unusual. we ll all look forward to hearing the answers as they come. homer hickman, thank you for being on with us this morning. my pleasure. and another breaking news story we have been following this morning, the president of poland is among those who died today when a polish jet liner crashed on landing in russia. all 96 people on board were killed. abc s tom aspell joins us with the latest. the airplane krarned in thick fog a mile short of smoel lesing. local officials said the airplane caught fire after it hit the ground. rescue teams attempted to pull passengers out of the wreckage but no survivors. they were traveling to a memorial satisfy at katyn near smoel lesing. and tom, obviously you just mentioned the thick fog and that may have been the problem. but the tupelo 154 is a plane that was carrying these passengers is a fairly old plane, correct? it s quite an old plane, it was built during the soviet era and it does not have a good safety record. there s been 66 crashes of this plane, 55 of them in the last five years. and now here s lester. turning back to this country and a big change coming on theist supreme court. the retirement of justice john paul stevens. pete williams joins us with all of that. this announcement from justice stevens coming before his 91 sz birthday, but it comes as no surprise because he s been signaling this term on the court would be his last. reporter: john paul stevens will leave the supreme court after nearly 34 and a half years, the third longest service in the court s history. in a letter, steve ps said he ll step down at the end of june. he has applied the constitution and the laws of the land with fidelity and restraint. he will soon turn 90 this month, but he leaves this position at the top of his game. the court s only jerald ford nominee, stevens arrived in 1975 as a moderate conservative. he has insisted that it s the court that has shifted, not him. i really don t think i have changed. i still very myself quite conservative. he voted in favor of rights for guantanamo detainees. because justice stevens was able to attract swing votes both in his persuasion and his relationship as a justice is able to pull someone like justice kennedy to the left. reporter: it also happens that he s the current court s only protestant, six justices are catholic and two are jewish, a big consideration for obama. it s clear he s not leaving now because he has to. justice stevens has remained remarkably fit even throwing out the first pitch for his beloved team. it s amazing that he s able to be at the absolute top all the way up to age 90. and now president obama must choose his second nominee for the supreme court. this comes at a time to give the president lots of time to name a replacement before the fall term. how will that affect the president s timetable? i think that joyce here is among several possible candidates. elena kagan, diane wood a federal judge from chicago, a marick garland a federal judge from here in washington. i don t think they want to get a candidate out there too far to get picked apart, so probably an a poppointment in mid to lay ma. sarah palin and other conservative republicans are stepping up their attacks on president obama. in fact it s become a real feud. andrea mitchell has the latest. reporter: for a crowd that wanted red meat sarah palin delivered. now we have got the makings of the obama doctrine. which is coddling enemies and alienating allies. reporter: it s a policy feud that started three days ago after the presidentpresident attacked the president s new nuclear strategy. the president in prague to sign the treaty with the russians was quick to respond when asked by abc. i really have no response to that, last i checked sarah palin s not much of an expert on nuclear issues. reporter: sarah palin tried to have the last word. now president obama with all the vast experience that he acquired as a community organizer. reporter: she want after the president for his tough exchanges with president netanyahu. so yes we can kowtow to enemies, criticized allies, vacillate, bow, di other. there are three prongs to the obama doctrine, abandon our allies and appease our enemies. i think she was wrong on all three counts. the president is a very strong defender of the united states, he works very closely with allies and he s trying to solve some of the most difficult problems that were left over from the last eight years. today the republicans will get the results of a straw poll of possible contenders for the 2012 nomination and they ll get it from their embattled chairman michael steele. and we go over to the news desk with jeff lawson. good to see you and good to see everyone. we begin with pope benedict and the controversial letter he wrote in 1985. it appears when he was cardinal he resisted defrocking a priest in california who was molesting children. signed by cardinal ratzinger and found by the associated press. he was concerned by the effect it would have on the church. the vatican has confirmed the pope s signature but would not comment on the letter itself. tauthorities say bruce beresford redman is not allowed to leave mexico yet, his wife s body was found in a sewer on thursday in a cancun resort where the family was staying. he has produced credits on survivor and is a co-create for of pump my ride. a 4-year-old boy died after becoming sick with e. coli. four other children were sent to the hospital. health officials say many others have tested positive for e. coli but have no symptoms, officials are still looking for the source of the outbreak. finally, you think you hate going to the dentist? now to italy in a mysterious and what some call a controversial relic going on display for the first time in years, the shroud of turin. reporter: over the next six weeks, an estimated million and a half visitors will line up and get to view of shroud of turin, to some believers, they believe its a miracle, for others it s an enduring mystery. the 14-foot long burial cloth is behind bulletproof glass in a climate controlled case. to the faithful, this is a miracle. the shroud contains the 3-d image of a bearded man who appears to have been pore chured and crucified. many chriss believe this is the image of christ at the moment of resurrection. the shroud first appeared in the middle ages in france. but the image we know today appeared when a photographer produced the image more than 35 years ago. you know a discovery of the three dimensional technology that we now have, it could be that this is the age it was intended for. reporter: is it the face of christ? or is the shroud a clever hoax? a carbon dating test in 1988 puts the age of the shroud in medieval times, but the sample of the cloth used for testing has been contested by some scientists. a computer scientist in stanford university says the image on the shroud was not made by the hand of man. it is actually a very rare image, extremely difficult to reproduce, actually so far nobody so far has been able to reproduce it. reporter: what continues to baffle scientists today is how the imprint on the shroud doesn t penetrate the fibers, but makes a perfect 3-d image of, could it be, the moment of christ s resurrectioresurrectio? the vatican is not opposed to scientific testing on the shroud. in the meantime, visitors will have to draw their own conclusions, the mystery that appears to be a miracle in the making. lester? and it is so well known, why is it going on display now? were laws broken here? it s been quite a come back for tiger woods, he finds himself in familiar territory at the masters territory in augusta in title contention. we re going to take a look at his game. ninth is the charm they say. i thought it was the third time. i mention that because elizabeth taylor may be ready to walk down the aisle again. we re going to tell you all about that. first it is a shocking and heart breaking story, the little boy from russia adopted by an american woman only to be sent back. the story from nbc s ron allen. reporter: just 7, he appeared exhausted and bewildered on a moscow hospital. his return has touched off anger and outrage in russia where his caretakers say they have never seen such cruelty. his eyes fill with tears when his adoptive mother is mentioned. he says she often pulled him by his share. his mother is a 34-year-old nurse and single who named her son justin. hanson allegedly paid a russian tour operator to meet the boy at the airport. she adopted him from this russian orphanage after being taken away from an unfit alcoholic mother. the orphanage director remembers how happy the new mom and son once seened. hanson claims that rtm lied to her. she says employees were definitely aware of the major problems that this child has but wanted to get him out of the orphanage. she said the boy had become threatening, quote, he drew a picture of our house burning down and he ll tell anybody that he s going to burn down our house with us in it. the hansons new attorney had this to say. we hope we ll have a reasonable explanation of what s occurred. you re worried about this child, what s this child thinking and feeling and doing, it s in describable and incomprehensible that this has taken place. reporter: russia s foreign minister called a halt to all adoptions to the u.s. saying it was the last straw. he says this is beyond the bounds of good and evil. cases like h this are rare, perhaps only a dozen ever reported. 13 children adopted from russia have died at the hands of their american parents during the past 10 years. reporter: now authorities at the state department all want to question hanson about her adopted son now abandoned along with the promise of a new life. ron allen, nbc news, new york. and for more insight on this story, we re joined by msnbc legal analyst susan fineman and gail salts. good morning to both of you. we saw this letter that the adopted mother put in the hands of her 7-year-old saying he had extreme, severe psychopathic issues, whether that s true or not, is there any reasonable explanation for what she did? no. first of all, there s no such thing as an 8-year-old psychopath. that is simply not a diagnosis that you can make. and clearly the point is no diagnosis was made. this is a child who if they were troubled which would not be shocking having come from an orphanage, having come from potentially an unfit alcoholic mother would have difficulty, that would be obvious to anyone who understands that s what they re taking on and they need probably mental health care here. so compounding probably his already difficult childhood, what does this situation do to him further? this is a terrible trauma, this is a child who s been abandoned from their point of view abandoned multiple time, given the message they are a bad, you know, evil child, and that is going to create to some degree potentially lifelong problems. and suzanne, you re a lawyer, but you re also an adoptive mother. and you know personally about international adoptions, that said, what legal issues now does this mother face? i think she faces potential criminal prosecution for risk of injury to a miner. i think what she did is reckless, irresponsible, dangerous and again, potentially criminal. and i think the state of tennessee is investigating her to see whether she can be brought up on charges. and susan, if you re having problems with an adoptive child, are there resources? of course. people you can reach out to for help? absolutely. what safety net is there for adoptive parents? social services is all over people who bring home people from other countries. intercontinental adoption is not easy. for should it be. this is something that s watched by countries around the world. so there are services f s to he parents make adjustments. it s a wonderful thing, it s something that should be encouraged, it s not something that should be shut down, and this woman s actions potentially hurt parent who is want children and children who desperately need new homes. when you re going through this very rigorous adoptive process. what about the cultural differences, do you think that s not taken into account by the parents. you hear that his mom is bad, that she pulled his hair? i don t think the cultural differences are so much the issue as you should understand and it is understood that when you adopt, you know, there can be issues that can come up, there could be issues that come up along the way that are not obvious when you adopt that child. if you give birth, there are issues that could come up. children can develop depression, anxiety, learning issues, this is part of being a child and if you come from a traumatic background, that much more so. so you have to understand if you re going to make the decision to adopt, you re taking on that responsibility that you need to help a child and that hopefully is part of the gratification of just that that you are rescuing a child essentially who might not get those services, who might not get the help and who could live a very happy, productive and healthy life if they get the kind of care that they need. dr. gail salts, suzanne fineman, we appreciate your insights. now let s get a check of the weather from bill karins who s out on the plaza. a wonderful cloud out hecrow here. we re from stephen argyle central. you guys drove on the bus all this way? it was interesting to me in his monday press conference to the world that he said he was going to be toning down his behavior on the golf course, his negative reactions and in turn he was going to be toning dun his exuberance, and i for one was a little bummed out for lack of a better word that he was going to be toning down his reactions, the first pumps and whatnot. we have seen some of that already, so i m happy to see a lot of the old tiger is still in there. but the way he s conducting himself with the crowd, the patrons is a little bit difference, he s smiling, he s thanking people at the tee boxes, and he s putting his arms around his competitors. that s different from tiger s behavior in the majors. certainly embracing his come back, are we seeing something unique because this is the masters and it s perhaps more carefully selected crowd than we would see otherwise? in other words do you think it s reflective of how people would react to his come back. you re seeing augusta national, this is the south, there s decorum reigning stream. people have been able to separate the golfer from the private man, people are saying, tiger woods, we do not approve of what you did, but you re a golfer and you re the best in the world. it seems to me they have already been able to separate the two. if he came out here and sprayed that first tee shot into the gallery, people would say this controversy, this scandal is inside his head, he s playing different. but people are saying he s settled in and it didn t really affect him. and that taunting banner, was the crowd bothered by that either? reporter: he claims he didn t even see it, i don t know if that s true or not. they don t restrict the air space over augusta national. they can t. i talked to one fan who said his little boy asked what does the sign say and the dad said well they re making fun of tiger. some parents are having to explain to their kids why tiger is being taunted from the air. but it s not affecting tiger. we appreciate the discussion. up next, here comes the bride? i think pretty much everyone has a few things too many perhaps in their home, but we re going to meet a man who literally cannot stop. he is an obsessive hoarder and he s taken over his life and he s not alone. we re going to find out what drives people to be like this and what help is out there. let s begin with the latest on that mine disaster in west virginia. abc s tom costello is there. tom, a sad, sad ending. boy, this is just heart breaking, we have been waiting for more than four days as you know, as this community held out hope that four missing miners would be found alive, that somehow perhaps they made it to one of those rescue chambers with oxygen inside. but late last night, in fact early this morning, the governor came forward and announced that in fact, rescuers had finally made it all the way into the mine, they had found that those rescue chambers had not been deployed and then they announced that they had found the four missing miners, in fact they had probably died with the explosion or very soon after, and had been laying in the mine, but the conditions were so horrendous inside the mine that rescuers walked right past them and never saw them on the very first day. so now the death toll from this mine disaster in west virginia stands at 29, that makes it the deadliest mine disaster since 1970, an investigation likely to take a year and president obama asking for an early assessment as soon as next week. lester? let s head over now to the news desk for the other headlines. good morning to you lester and amy. we begin with that plane crash in moscow that s killed everyone on board including the president of poland. tom aspell live in london for the latest for us. reporter: the tupelo aircraft crashed in russia killing all 96 people on board including lech kosinski and his wife. rescue teams attempted to pull passengers out of the reck an but there were no sir vooifrs. the president of poland was traveling to a memorial service at katyn to commemorate russian and polish forces during world war ii. pilot error may have caused the crash. russian officials said that because of the fog he was directed to land in troops are cracking down on anti-government protesters, police fired at them and used water hoses to control the crowds. the demonstrators are demanding new elections there, so far 100 people have been injured. a controversial letter surfaced from the pope then cardinal ratzinger shows his concern not necessarily over the scandal but rather the effect it would have on the universal church. the vatican has confirmed the pope s signature and denies he was trying to impede any punishment against the priest. republicans are promising a fight over the president s pick to replace john paul stevens. he s a liberal and the court s oldest member turning 90 in just ten days. finally a ufo sighting getting the fighter jets roaring. take a look at this video, a mystery cameraman took it at the supposed ufo outside of london. is that a ufo? there come the british fighter jets in purr suit. a ufo exter says this could be the real thing or maybe just a military drone. u.s. officials would not comment. so you decide. i don t know, i have never seen a ufo, so how would i know? a successful reality television producer who worked on the hit show survivor is now the focus of his wife s murder investigation. her body was discovered in a sewer where they were vacationing in cancun, mexico. reporter: the suspect told police he last saw his wife monday, that s the same day other hotel guests say they heard loud screaming and yelling coming from their room. he was questioneded and released but he remains a suspect. they look the happy couple. but behind the smiles rumors of infidelity according to her family, they came to this cancun resort with their children last week to reportedly work on their marriage. but on monica s 42nd birthday, police discovered his body dumped in a sewer. authorities say bruce has scratches on his neck, he was detained and questioned by police but he s not allowed to leave the country. we have established that there was a contentious relationship between both party bus we have to examine all these areas and continue our investigation. reporter: bruce and monica married years ago before either had any type of fame or fortune. he produced television shows like survivor and helped create mtv s pump my ride she ran a restaurant outside los angeles for more than a decade. monica did not deserve to die, she was a strong person, very loving and caring. she was an amazing person. in cancun, bruce has ducked the media spotlight while his parents released this communication. we know our son loved monica and would never have harmed her. meantime, court documents show bruce s parents have been awarded temporary custody of his 5 and 3-year-old children. the kids likely unaware their father is being questioned in their mother s murder. police say this crime is certainly not connected to the drug cartels here in mexico, was most likely not the work of someone local and appears to be committed by one assailant. and we re joined now from los angeles by maritsa, monica beresford s good friend. maritsa, i know that monica was your closest friend for the past 24 23 years so i can only imagine how difficult this time is for you, so i want to first tell you that our condolences are with you. i know you heard in the piece authorities, monica s sister have all described her relationship as contentious, as troubled. what did you personally witness over the past several years and months even? you know, about their marriage problem or if there was any trouble there, i didn t experience anything or know anything because monica and bruce, they were very, you know, keep their marriage, you know, issues to themselves. they never showed to us or i never saw any kind of, you know, anything that, you know, out of because to me, this whole thing is out of his character. and just the hear that he s being held as a suspect and i don t think that i can see any problems in their marriage. if there was they were well kept. you said this is out of character or would be out of character for bruce, you believe what some people are saying he is capable of. how would you describe bruce? i would describe bruce as a very quiet guy, every time he comes to the restaurant to, you know, chat and stay with his wife there and he always quiet and when we gets there he sits at a table and reads his magazine or a book and he was always quiet. and you know, treated us with kindness. i want to talk about the facts we know so far, police there locally say they don t believe this was the act of a drug cartel but was the act of one person. it s not going to be a drug cartel, she wasn t involved in anything like that, they have got no reason to kill her. the only reason it could be if it wasn t her husband would be an attempted robbery on the property. and it all depends on who her husband s actually saying and that s what the police are telling us that his stories aren t quite working. the last i heard he said he left at 10:00 in the morning to go shopping. she didn t get off the grounds, she s in a sewer on the hotel grounds, you have to wonder who s going to rob somebody at 10:00 in the monk arning and th drag her body into a sewer. the husband has not been charged but the hotel staff reported seeing the two of them fighting, hearing them fighting, the door was opened 11 times throughout the night and he apparently has scratches on his neck. does that tell you anything. well, when you ve got scratches on yourself under these circumstances, you ve got to explain them. now he s in cancun, i guess he could have met one a feisty iguana, i actually have some scratches from my iguana? ripley. let s head back inside to amy. all right, bill, thank you. it is like living a nightmare, one man who cannot part with his belongings, he is a compulsive hoarder. i have probably been acquiring things most of my adult life. there s always something here, something there. when i can t invite something to the house, i feel angry, i feel very ashamed. bill s home is full of their row pathways, nearly everywhere he turns, something is there. antiques, pieces of furniture that i could refinish, different cabinets and kitchen sets, big things, tools, magazines, particularly handy man type. bill s partner has lived like this for 25 years. it s almost like i ve lost my survival instinct to say no, this isn t normal, this has to go, this is dangerous. her once beautiful screened in porch is also gone, now filled with mounds of clutter. shovels, gardening tools, a screen door for the porch, flooring for the kitchen. skylight for the porch roof, underneath everything there are two couches and some chairs. bill is a compulsive hoarder, someone who compulsively collecting things but has a hard time throwing anything away. there was an excitement in acquiring things and quite a lot of consternation in getting rid of things. over the years i have taken a good look at myself or amelia has posed the question to me, why do you put up with this? amelia is bill and lorelai s daughter? i find i have resentment toward him and i hate it. that may explain why amelia s room is so different from the rest of the house. in here there is order. i love cleaning, but to clean my house, it almost always results in me crying because i just don t know where to start. i want to be able to deal with this problem and rectify it, by doing it at a more gradual pace, i have been able to. there memorabilia 15 of these containers, another 30 or 40, and other boxes around, probably you ve got hundreds of these all together. probably. with the help of hoarding expert randy frost, bill is slowly dealing with his problem. i have visions of these people treating me for this hoarding disorder and coming in and taking out all my stuff and throwing it away in one fell swoop and i would have been in a rubber room. i just couldn t deal with that. first of all, when i was here six months ago, it was much worse. what we re seeing with bill is a little bit of the peeling away of the onion of these beliefs he has about possession. to what did it take for you to let go of this snuff. i want to say focused determination. it s not like a tangible fix, like take this bipill, and you won t do this anymore, it s not like that. it s n . anymore than being a diabetic, saying i can t deal with that. it s something that s in him. joining us is dr. randy frost who s been helping bill squib, he s the author of stuff, compulsive hoarding. give us a sense just for people who are trying to get their head around what they just saw, why does someone feel the need to hoard things? do we understand the why? hoarding is a complex problem, but we do know a couple of things about it that seem to lead to its development. first of all hoarding runs in families, so there may be a component of this that s genetic. secondly, people who hoard have problems with the processing of information. there are problems with the way they deploy attention, problems with categorizization and coordination and the ability to make decisions. and we have a problem with the nature of attachment to our possessions. a lot of people get attached to their possessions. but not a lot of people get attached to boxes of things and shoving and things. i know it s been a couple of weeks since you last saw bill, we sta saw he was starting to make progress, is that continue ing. he s making slow progress, he s still in the process of wanting to organize more than get rid of. that s the first step in getting better. so he is making slow progress, but it s still a struggle. is there a cure for this? you heard his daughter say i wish there was a pill he could take. we can t talk about cure, but we have developed a treatment program, a form of cognitive behavior therapy that seems promising. we have had some early indications of its relative success. but it s not perfect. and it s interesting as i m looking at this and i was telling you in the piece that i m probably the opposite, i m a neat freak, i want everything clean, clutter free, and as i m watching this, i just want to go in there, if i m his wife or his daughter and throw everything away. and he said that s his deepest fear. he said he s organizing now, how do you get him to let go? that s the most difficult thing in the treatment of hoarding and way we have to do it is to get him to take a very close look at his beliefs and his thoughts about his possessions. the reason he s made some progress so far is he s started thinking a little bit differently about these possessions. he changed the way he was looking at them, his perspective, a lint. so you re talking pretty intense therapy and it needs to be on a weekly basis and it would probably have to be continued for a lifetime? the tweereatment we have developed is 26 weeks but it s stretched out to close to a year. if somebody knows they are a hoarder, is there help out there? there is, the international compulsive behavior organization is launching a hoarding center in his website. it will be launching next week to coincide with the release of stuff the book about hoarding. i was going to ask you one last question, because some people just like to collect things and there is a distinct difference between people who just like to collect things and might have a lot of stuff to hoarding, what is that distinction? yes, that s an asian salad dressing. and this is exploding salad. and the calorie cartel at chili s gave a 1,400 calorie salad basically a base that is a quesa dilla, so you re itting a cheese quesa dilla before you even get to the sal lid. so you ve got 85 gram of fat. a day and a half s worth of saturated fat and that ends up being the equivalent of seven large orders of mcdonald s french fries. you want to go with the guiltless grill. in this case it s the caribbean salad. 450 calories, a light dressing, you re going to save 1,000 calories. again, a few times a week, you re losing a pound. wendys, and i have actually had a few salads there thinking i m doing better than my kids who were eating burgers and fries. it s a blt, it s chicken, it s bacon, i don t know you want to pile another animal on there? you got pig, you got chicken. it s the calorie equivalent of five twinkies. so you ve got 790 calories. so grilled chicken is the better alternative? let s move on to burger king, they re known for their flame broiled burgers. and the lesson here, what you want to do is forget about the word salad in the title and look at the rest of it. and in this case, it s tender crisp versus tender grilled and that one choice saves you 180 calories. otherwise if you go with the crispy which is fried, it s the equivalent of 19 strips of bacon. you re probably better than getting a pizza, but it s a salad?
