"action news" reporter, bob brooks talked to the victim at family about the legacy he left behind. >> reporter: he is pictured with his mom and two sons, sadly the boys will have to grow up without their father. the 28-year-old was gunned down outside his home in the 6600 block of haggerman street in tacony last night. we spoke with his grieving family. >> this is a good young man, a young man who worked he wasn't in the street, he was about his family, he was about his children. >> reporter: we obtained surveillance video of the heinous crime, it's quick. bruster worked as a tow truck driver, before he closes a door, a suspect walks up behind him and shoots him and his co-worker. he was killed. the co-worker was shot multiple times, he is in critical condition. you can see it happened in a matter of seconds. his family said they don't know why this would happen. >> egg to work, he come home. he's not in the streets. >> reporter: haggerman street we noticed quite a few real estate signs every neighbor we spoke with said things are out of control. >> we're about to leave the neighborhood. >> i have four grandchildren, you're afraid to leave your kids out. >> i'm looking to worry about any precipitation today or tomorrow. the next chance of precipitation will be in the form of rain is tuesday. 31 degrees for philadelphia. we've dropped one degree below freezing. dewpoint, 26. pressure reading is rising. winds out of the northwest at 6 miles per hour. most of the area, the exception being the lower portions of cape may county and south of dover, the exception of that, everybody is below freezing at this point. if there's any leftover moisture from yesterday's system, wet roads, more than likely it's starting to glaze over if has not been treated. be careful out there this morning, there could slick spots, but again, over the next hour, hour 1/2, temperatures climb above freezing and any ice will start to melt. we have wind speeds out of the west/northwest at 5 to 7 miles per hour. that gives us a slight windchill this morning. everything warms up nicely later on. satellite and radar clearing off to the northwest that will push southeast to philadelphia and south jersey in the morning hours. we're looking at a nice day, which future tracker 6 will confirm in just a moment. we'll see a decent amount of sunshine from start to finish. that gets the temperatures in the 40s. monday a repeat performance, the exception being the cloud cover approaching from the southwest. that doesn't get in here until late of in the day. that's in adds -- advance of the next system. this is the highs storm that's hitting the heartland right now with a tremendous amount of ice and sleet in kansas and wichita. by the time it travels across the region and moves into our neck of the woods, temperatures are much, much mild with the temperatures in the 50s. peek -- speaking of 50s, tomorrow, we'll have temperatures in the 40s. the warm front lifts through the region on wednesday. all the cold air retreats into northern portions of canada, hudson bay, the pole, that's where the cold air retreats. it is suggested 6 to 8 straight days of 50-degree temperatures. the only thing that would hold the numbers back, would be clouds and if we have rain. otherwise it's 50s galore over the next week and a half. nice and sunny, 44 degrees is the here's what we know about this, the action cam was at that scene, 700 block of parker avenue in chester, police were called at 11:30 to reports of gunfire outside of ming's restaurant. we know that two men were shot, they were rushed to crozer-chester medical center, so far no word about their conditions. philadelphia police say a road rage shooting put a man in the hospital. it happened in the parkside section of the city around 10:00 a.m. jeanette reyes has the story. >> reporter: philadelphia police received a call of a report of a man with a gun and male shot. officers responded to the 1700 block of north 53rd street that's where they found the victim with a gunshot wounds to the hip. on the sedan, you can see a single bullet hole on the drivers side door. the victim told police, the shooting was the result of a road rage incident that began on the expressway a mile away from the scene. the suspect drove off in a black toyota camry with tinted windows. >> i'm not surprised to purples. what's going going on, this purple shade through western iowa and oklahoma and kansas, you have ice warnings to the west, this is freezing rain and sleet that continues to pound away at the heartland of the nation, the football game between the chiefs and the steelers has been pushed back to 8:30 because of all the ice. the good news, this system, the warmer air will eventually win the battle. conditions will start improving as the day wears on. the storm travels east, by the time it heads into our neck of the woods, east of the mississippi, this is all mild air, it will fall in the form of rain for us in philadelphia. on a tuesday, the rain/snow line is up here in new england. there's no wintry precipitation in the fee -- foreseeable future. not only are we talking about a january thaw. we're talking about an extended january thaw where we'll see 6 to 8 days of temperatures in the 50s. enjoy it, because it does not happen much in philadelphia. allentown, 41. cape may,
