that he was the wrong man at the wrong time to help formulate a common sense plan to deal with the wuhan flu and that's the angle. ♪ joining me now is brad wenstrup subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic. i object turnerrest and. let's start with you. what do you think the most important fact that you have uncovered in all of your investigations? >> i think that the numerous facts that we have uncovered have led to the very notion that dr. fauci as director of the ninid take into what happened when it comes to the grant process, nefarious behavior within his agency. the lack of control that exists within his agency it's us everything. more so i would say the messaging was absolutely horrible and so was bedside

-for the second time in nasa's history, a space shuttle has been lost along with its entire crew. once again, we are asking ourselves, how could this have happened? -do you have any idea how big that piece of foam was that came off? -we'd heard some reports that during launch there had been some concerns that some debris hit the wing. is that true and is that any cause of concern and that could have caused today's problems? -it is true. it was judged that, erm , that event did not represent a safety concern. -this happened under my watch, but i didn't have the answers. in every public forum i'm gonna have to be in, how am i gonna explain this to anybody? at this time, we have no indication that the mishap was caused by anything or anyone on the ground. -nasa never wants to look stupid. nasa wants to be the agency with the answers. -my thoughts are on what we missed,

[laughter] this is brutal. who thinks of these? and they think about it, just like they say i'm guilty of -- and, you know, all this information was from so many years before the election, you know? it was before the election. rachel: that's a great point, so you're talking about the intel if agencies. obviously, remember what chuck schumer said? if you tick off the intel agency, or they'll find a way to get you. if you're elected, are you going to reform the intel community? if what exactly are you going to do to make sure they don't target americans like this? >> first of all, if you remember, when i took over, we had a guy named comey. he was there. i thought he was terrible, actually. and he he tried to get me and i reversed it on him. some people say he cost hillary the election is and he didn't want to. but he was a bad guy, not a capable guy. evil, an evil guy. they were doing things that, i mean, i won't mention if here because so conspiratorial.

a few weeks later he quotes a scientific paper to prove that a scientists believe this came from if nature, but he didn't tell people that he committed -- commissioned and edited the paper. he was behind the origins of the paper. so there's so much dishonesty going on here and so much abuse of power. we've got to get to the bottom of this and mainly because with this research still guess on. it goes on in the united states, and it needs to be regulated. i have a bill coming forward that i hope will be bipartisan that will have an independent agency that oversees all of this dangerous research. maria: well, i mean, why are they lying and why did they mislead you? is this about money? was dr. anthony fauci being paid by the vaccine makers to push the vaccine on all of us? if. >> we don't know. and his response to me was this: he said the law protects him and that he doesn't have to reveal loyalties. which is, i think, an affront to the american people. we think the law does not say
