9/11 memorial, program started by a couple firefighters in denver who wanted to have people climb 2,200 steps, 110 stories, it's how high the world trade center west, carrying a photograph in a name of one of the fallen fdny members. it's a program that really helps the people realize what the firefighters from the city of new york went through that day but it also way to remember. never forget. tell those families that we care about them and there's a lot of information about that. people can show their respect and take part in a program in their communities. most of all to let the world on that we care about what public safety officers are doing each and every day to keep our communities safe. >> shannon: they need to hear that from us every day. facing so many different threats and lack of morale. chief, thank you for what you're doing. joel, the book is "enemies and allies." hopefully we can steer away from those threats ahead.
