I tried to entertain Justice Ginsburg for a few moments before we came over here, telling herr stories of my adventures and misadventures in american politics, back when we viewed each other as threedimensional human beings and not cartoons. [applause] as is fairly had notwn now, i actually met Justice Ginsburg until that memorable sunday evening in 1993 when she came to see me the white house. I had already interviewed two other people and it immediately leaked to the press. I had a lot of young aides who work hard and were good people but if a reporter called them, they were more afraid to say i dont know than anything else, so i got a big kick out of it. I sneaked who is now one of the most famous people in the world into the white house and nobody knew.
