>> yeah, you know, i'm hopeful that change will come. i don't think it will come immediately, though. for me, i see what happens rather than people talking about it. i want to make sure we have the right people in office that will actually holdup justice and really look out for us, especially as black people in white spaces. we need to have protection. >> todd: to that point, erwin, what do you make of a lot of policy with regard to the black community coming from rich, white liberals who don't live in the community and then tell you a black man what it is to be a black man? >> i think a lot of people say different things, that goes across the board. there are left people who aren't for black folks, there are the right side people that aren't for black folks, as well, we
