European Super League: How Germany's 50+1 rule kept Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund out
Football was rocked this week as 12 elite clubs attempted to break away from their domestic leagues and form a so-called Super League. But Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were not involved. This is why.
Barely 48 hours after its initial announcement on Sunday night, the proposed European Super League began to unravel on Tuesday night as the six English clubs involved began to pull out.
First Chelsea and Manchester City, then Arsenal and Tottenham, and finally the ring leaders, American-owned Liverpool and Manchester United.
By Wednesday morning, the whole project had collapsed and Andrea Agnelli, Juventus chairman and a chief architect of the coup, was lamenting shamelessly that "I don't think our industry is a particularly sincere, trustworthy or reliable one …"

Fans oppose Champions League reforms as new 36-team 'Swiss model' edges closer
European Club Association chairman Andrea Agnelli says agreement on a new Champions League format is imminent. But supporter groups oppose the reforms, saying they will only exacerbate existing inequalities in the game.
The banner on the deserted south stand at Borussia Dortmund's
"Stop UCL reforms!" read the demand from "Südtribüne Dortmund," the umbrella group representing the club's active fan groups, expressing supporter opposition to proposed reforms to Europe's elite football competition.
The reforms, championed by European Club Association (ECA) chairman Andrea Agnelli, propose increasing the number of Champions League participants from 32 to 36 and replacing the current group stage format with a single league table starting in 2024.

Club World Cup: Bayern Munich fans issue fresh Qatar criticism as ban appeal continues
German and European champions Bayern Munich are in Qatar for the Club World Cup. Meanwhile, a Bayern supporter is appealing a ban which his lawyer claims is linked to his criticism of his club's dealings with Qatar.
Bayern Munich fans protest against their club's dealings with Qatar
As Bayern Munich's first team squad jetted off to Qatar for the Club World Cup on Saturday morning, several Bayern fans back in Munich unveiled a banner outside the club's Allianz Arena.
Published online by the fan group "Munich's Red Pride" (MRP), the banner appears to show Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and club president Herbert Hainer chasing a suitcase full of money held by a wagon driver, seemingly representing the state of Qatar and trampling over workers' rights and the values of Bayern Munich.

not like 20089 that was like the last rebuilding off the stadium where a lot of modern like 2000 fans actually took part terribly. spin actions have made global headlines perpetuating an oft oversimplified myth but now many fans roll their eyes when they hear the phrase cold club yes i'm tired of that really. improved play and the legendary status of their fan culture has caused some growing pains. this family feeling was being. challenged at the moment in the past 3 years the stadium was almost at every gay. sold all that we have from all the falls into memphis you know we have like i think 5 years ago with iran to 12000. in typical fashion didn't raise ticket prices for their 1st ever promotion to the bundesliga it will be a tough slog at the top but selling out the stadium won't be a problem on your own inherit some may have had across well friendship in the old

a ballplayer still he told us his favorite part of living in berlin is the peace and quiet. you go outside the city numbered the 2 might find some. big difference. i am not sure if that screams football city characters ads from last season actually had the motto of in berlin you can be anything even a hare to feel inspired. despite their tradition and fan culture her to have a reputation for being a bit soulless it doesn't help that they're so middle of the road on the field just because then fairy covers berlin's lower league football for bloody hell magazine. nothing. against head but they had to find them very boring because what some find boring means authenticity is a long time spans the whole changes she believes it's just not valuable and gee i thought i might be doing stuff. that might change her to clearly have grander

not just the club the city to last august the city so 2 days of far right violence and the clubs clubs fan groups were seen as instrumental in coordinating those and the question then is i mean this incident symptomatic of a larger problem in german football i would say not necessarily because i think it's a localized issue a lot of it tends to happen predominantly in the former east of germany and also the lower leagues seem to have more of a prevalent connection and in the fan coaches with right wing activism in the upper leagues for instance the bundesliga there's a very positive fan culture and oddly enough some of it is more typically associated with the left of the political spectrum so i think it's definitely prevalent in the lower leagues german football clubs like candidates who have sent mixed signals out in the past have to send very clear messages this is a step in the right direction that we have to wait and see where that goes max marion from last fall it says thank you very much. not to someone sport of don
