I just checked the air quality here in walnut creek and its hovering the aqi is hovering around that 150 point and thats right where it is unsafe for everybody not just for people in the vulnerable category. We will see another day like this one. Heres video of the air yesterday where that smoke and inhaling it is bad and this air is just terrible for us. And medical centers around the bay area say they are seeing an uptick in patients, many with smokerelated issues. Were definitely seeing over the last week the chest pains, the shortness of breath, asthma. We would call it bronco spasm and palpitations and certainly the headaches. Heres a look back at about 2 00 this morning when some of the light to moderate showers moved through the south bay. More than a tenth of an inch in the mountains and 400 in the valley.
